Sorry for the quick english translation, I used Google to translate my comment from a french web site (http://www.ultimateps3.fr/forums/message-662207.html#p662207). A.K.A.: lordsith because I am in a rush right now and I want to share my tought with you as soon as possible so sorry but it is readable.:
told you it'll play told the story of Frank Jaeger (Gray Fox) and how
he became a cyborg after the incident in Zanzibar (Zanzibar Land
Disturbance) or he was forced to betray his best friends: Solid Snake Because of this loyalty to Big Boss.
It appears for the first time in the game Metal Gear (1987) and subsequently in Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake (1990) Metal Gear Solid (1998) Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops (2006).
Frank Jaeger, born in the mid-1950s, is the son of an American soldier and a Vietnamese. Rejected by all, he has participated as a child to a conflict in Mozambique. The boy approached the enemy, who were wary not a child, then he attacked with a machete and slaughtering his enemies. Because of this approach, and the fact that he spoke a little German, the boy was nicknamed Frank Jaeger (hunter franc literally). It was during this period he was spotted for the first time by Big Boss. This put him in an orphanage, but it was taken, apparently by philosophers, for submission to the program "perfect soldier".
After the incident in San Hieronymo, the sole survivor of this program, Frank received the code name Null. Conditioned to lose all memory after completing his mission, he is nevertheless marked by his fight against Big Boss. It also recognizes the young child soldier in Mozambique. After a second battle against Big Boss, Null found the memory and Big Boss takes him under his wing. At the end of Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, Roy Campbell explains that although alive, young Frank is still traumatized physically and psychologically, and he will [b] stay in a hospital [/ b].
Jaeger is the only unit FOXHOUND soldier to reach the rank of "Fox", the highest distinction of the unit, and was decorated five times.
Later, after Snake had discovered the plot Drago Pettrovich Madnar, Gray Fox launches an attack against the commands Snake Metal Gear. This last is destroyed by Snake, but Gray Fox is still alive, and a fistfight in a mine field begins between Snake and Gray Fox. Solid Snake wins the fight and left, believing him dead.
Gray Fox did not survive, but her body is recovered and returned to the medical officer of Fox Hound, Dr. Clark (aka Para-Medic) who used him as a guinea pig for gene therapy experiments. Gray Fox was raised and grafted exoskeleton experimental sees him will increase his strength and agility, but also its discretion with a new optical camouflage technology.
In 2003, the adoptive sister of Gray Fox, under the alias of Naomi Hunter enters the unit Fox Hound, using camouflage to escape and the murder of Dr. Clark commits that Gray Fox in his laboratory .
So phantom pain, VR Therapy,'d go with this scenario and Kojima himself has said repeatedly will tell this part of the history of FOXHOUND. Especially in the trailer for The Phantom Pain VGA 2012 if you are careful frame by frame you can see the character's face looks like a Snake back but when you see his face is me for sure. Over a several places in this trailer you can see Big Boss sketch on the walls (among others) made by the artist Yoji Shinkawa.
I really think putting the point on this mystery I know if I'm wrong, well, it would be a shame because everything is in place for this story."
Phantom Eye Pain, allows hallucinations and such, which i think snake is experiencing
also, the girl said "V has come to(o)" she definitely said V, which could symbolize 5 as in MGS5
The doctor in the beginning had a similar accent to the German Drago from Metal Gear, and this may explain a time frame in between MGS4 and MGRR
I feel bad for snake always losing his eye haha but maybe they found a way to reverse snakes aging, possibly new nanomachines, which is why no characters so far have any missing limbs..
It is a trailer for the next metal gear, it is already known that "Metal Gear Solid V" fits perfectly in the indents and negative space above the title, and that the alleged head of the studio is a "Joakim Mogren", which is an anagram of "Kojima" so most likely the phantom pain is the name of the trailer of the next MGS game ground zeroes.
That was amazing. I don't want to know a single thing else about this game..... but I definitely want to play it.
Psycho Mantis/ The Pain at the very end. It takes place after MGS 3 in the timeline.
Probably explains how Naked Snake/Big Boss got all terrorist-y
The faint "METAL GEAR SOLID V" just above the phantom pain text gives it away..clever advertising :)
IT'S LES ENFANTS TERRIBLE!!!! XD
Okay. The graphics and animations are definitely similar to MGS 4 style; specially at 00:41, look at the walking crouch and the crawling animation (yes, I take notice of that stuff when I play a game :P) Also the bandana-like bandage, the Sokolov looking guy and the Volgin man on fire.... If I remember correctly, Sokolov (MGS3) defected from the USSR, so this could explain his presence in England (flag and right-sided steering wheel), and probably Volgin came to get him back? If this is indeed related to MGS, then my theory: (MGS4 SPOILER ALERT!!) Volgin didn't die. Sokolov was working on the Les Enfants Terrible project after being rescued by Naked Snake/Big Boss (Remember BB didn't know about Les Enfants Terrible until after Snake was born from Eva and who knows when exactly). The other guy could be Liquid or Solidus. "V" is Solid's number as there were 8 clones of Big Boss. Still, there's the prosthetic arm -.- Time will tell
Did anyone notice/understand what the voice of a lady says at the end few seconds of the trailer ??!
That looks freaking great! Looks like a totally mind bending thriller. And the proper spelling is "hallucination."
Sorry but that's not Big Boss. Why? Big Boss never lost his hand, or at least not when he was young (and that man looks young). He appears in Pace Walker and Ground Zeroes with both organic hands. And saying that this is an hullicinartion is a joke. In that case you can also say the new Super Mario is an hullicination of snake as well LOL.
Thats why I love Hideo Kojima!I love those mind games he plays!Of course its a Kojima game, you can feel it!I just cant wait until he let us have some more of this.
I think it may be a hullicination sequence of snakes to Metal Gear Solid: ground zeroes much like the part in mgs 3 where snake is carried down a river unconscious as he dreams about all the people he has killed and see's the sorrow
@perfect_player1 or maybe is just another game.
@1blackone It fits very well with the fact that Big Boss was in coma when some guys experimented with his DNA and created his clones (1972, according to MGS3). The only issue is his lost hand in this trailer. Peace Walker took place in 1974 and Big Boss has both hands.
@snake812 carlos hahahahaha nice one XD
@jawadhasan3 There are two things she could have said:
"He has come to" - as in, the protagonist has awoken, meaning he either came to after getting caught, or the entire experience in the video was a dream, and he was only then waking up."V has come to" - could be taken literally, as in, a person with the codename "V" has come to (volgin?) or a more subtle message saying that Metal Gear Solid V has come to (us).
@Sheik2 actually, It might very well be a hallucination, considering that there are some characters in the video that could be either "The Sorrow" or "Psycho Mantis", so the possibility of someone with psychic powers causing hallucination on the protagonist is very likely. Also, this could very well be a part of the Ground Zero game, so who's to say that it isn't Big Boss, after the events of Peace Walker and "Ground Zero".And the protagonist doesn't look that young in the last scene where you see his face. in fact, it is pretty hard to determine his age.
@Dantedja @jawadhasan3 I believe 'she' is the one pointing the gun at him while he's on the ground at the end of the video, and I believe the "come too" part refers to him simply being awake and out of his coma. And she does say 'V', so, "V has come too". Meaning, "V has woken up." And probably means they want him to get back into service since they were looking for him.
@Dantedja Yeah, I think those are the possibilities, if she is speaking english.
@bazinamad A character from the Metal Gear series. He appeared in the first two games.
