The first game of the LOFTR-series which is M-rated???now that's a good start. I really hope they deliver a good games because aal the previous LOFTR-games where just cash-in childish games
italianice102" Its funny and entertaining to see a total braindead talk about something he dont know abaout
@hafa218 That was not so similar. Nearly everyone prefers character creation in rpg's like this, it's a huge bonus to any game of this genre. "Now you can see the validity of my argument, please refrain from calling strangers' stupid. Thank you for your cooperation." You're a nerd, who says that?
@italianice102 After reading your comment, I pose a similar argument: Since Call of Duty clearly lacks aliens, the developers must lack the skill to put them in, therefore it's not as good as Halo... Now that you can see how that argument is invalid and stupid, please refrain from posting more like it. Thank you for you cooperation.
Alright... taking character creation out is one of the stupidest ideas for an rpg... Who the heck does that they obviously lack the skill to make a game that features it... so it will be terrible.
This better be a great game. But what I've seen, it won't be a game I MUST have. Pity. It would've been awesome to create your own character. They're gonna blow it...
Hope they pull this together well but lack of any gameplay footage is a bit disappointing and leaves alot of questioning.
@Alex_09 Alex, I don't know what are you talking about. I've played DA:O twice and then Awakening the whole thing and all I have are the best impressions about both. I understand that lack of patches may seem like a sloppy support but the game was great. It WAS in fact the BEST sequel to Baldurs Gate and thats what it was supposed to be. I may not be as big fas of BG as some others who know everything in detail, but as a regular consumer of Bioware games I liked DA:O a LOT. Thinking about replaying it actually because there is no other game bettter. Its just my opinion of course. I am sorry that DAO didn't do it for you. But it definitely did it for me, and in no way i consider it as some kind of a let down for Bioware. It was a great game made in Biware traditions, great RPG atmosphere and content. Maybe not as balanced difficulty level wise, but it was easy to grow into it. DAO supposed to be played 2 if not 3 times through. First time was more of an exploration into skills and content for me. Darn, you actually made me wanting to play it again :).
I hope that they don't limit you to being either a dwarf warrior, human mage or elf archer. And a female elf archer at that...
Ohh I cant wait for this game, WHY CANT IT JUST COME OUT TOMORROW!!! Does anyone know if it will be split screen local co-op
hope to god it isnt like tird age fighting sysstem! hope it to be like dragon age origins style or oblvion
WOOT M rated lotr game! Looks pretty awesome. Im not sure that the wizard character is a human though. I'm pretty sure that wizards aren't considered humans but the guy said he was a lore masters so idk... Imma be the elf rogue character
I check it out, should be fun, but I hope there is co-op through online and not system link. That would not be very good for the game.
Might be all right, I would have to see more to judge whether it's for real or just a bland make-up of Action and Lord of the Rings. Still, as far as blank LotR goes, I enjoyed Third Age. Didn't own it, but renting-to-beat games like that is still fun and less costly.
I guess he's been talking to hundreds of the press answering the same questions. Blame the system not him i guess
i think its going to be like zombies like for example left 4 dead but instead left 3 dead it looks cool
Boooooo. Another mediocre hack in slash LOTR with co-op. I thought this could have been a console MMORPG. FAIL!!!!
PC! Yay! This title as a future, I can smell it :) @Kubilius: yeah, 3 humans versus pre-designed levels occupied by AI. ("Left 3 Dead")
Damn. Looks freaking awesome but will probably be banned in Australia for "depicting realistic violence" or some crap. Yeah, because a mythical animal ripping the head off a fictional race is realistic.
@jamerncc1701~ What, do you think that if you hit someone in the the face with a sword six and a half feet long that weighs twenty pounds they are just gonna fall over, no, it'll rip their head to pieces! I'm tired of swinging an axe bigger than be at someones waist and just seeing sparks and hearing Agg! I want to see them fall apart and hear a bloodcurling scream. whats the point in playing a violent melee game when it looks like it was made for 5 year olds. I've seen tv shows rated tv-pg that were gorier than modern shooters that were rated M. It's really starting to get annoying.
Are you kidding me..they have preset race-classes like baldurs gate...thats terrible that is the worst concept ever it should be way more customizable than that. Wow that sort of ruins alot of it but oh well im still going to get it for sure. M rated is sweet.
*oh yeah* lol- I just don't need my friends holding my hands in games- use my PC to relax away from people, that I have to deal with all day, it's nice to have some time to myself, for a change. A lot of people like using sp rpg's strictly. I don't care if they have coop, so long as they have a solid sp with it. Far as the other person questioning my finances, that's private of course, my high end rig silences that. ;)
Co-op? Why not! There's more than enough single player fantasy rpg's out anyway. Besides a mature LoTR game sounds extremely fun. I'm hyped. The problem with co-op is to find companions you want to play with. If they can find a good matchmaking UI this might turn into a great game.
