The Lineup Episode 7
Trash talk, basketball, NHL 94, and a tribute to Canada -- all that and more with The Global Media Award-nominated trio in this episode of The Lineup.
yeah CANADA! I'm from Sweden, but I spent a year in Edmonton, Alberta and I love that country! NHL 09 is the best sports game this year for sure ^^
I agree, Canada is awesome, and I love living here. It's good to see we finally get some recognition, even if it is just on the lineup. Sometimes it seems like there isn't a single person in the entire USA who knows what hockey is. Now if I could just join that damn gamespot NHL 09 club damnit!! I've been trying since the game launched. If anyone sees this and can help me out, pm me please.
Canada is awesome, that time on the ice bascially looks like everygame of hockey canada plays in the world juniors. LOL.
"cue the cheese baby", haha. good show, quite entertaining. good luck with the global media awards thing guys.
NHL 94 is still the game I've spent most hours playing ever. And the music sure is great. Even made a custom playlist for NHL 09 with just music from NHL 94.
I remember in NHL 94 or 95 a lot of times you could score by skating by the net and just having the blade of your stick making contact with the post. You could score from the far side of the ice with a floater in 95 or 96 too. Great games though, I was actually playing 95 just about a month ago. Woo Canada!
Hey, I am not a lumber jack or a fur trader, and I don't live in an igloo or eat blubber or own a dog sled, and I don't know Jimmy, Sally or Suzie from Canada although I am certain they're really really nice, uh. I have a Prime Minister not a president. I speak English and French, not American, and I pronounce it about, not a boot. I can proudly sew my country's flag on my back pack, I believe in peace keeping not policing, diversity not assimilation, and that the beaver is a truly proud and noble animal. A toque is a hat, a chesterfield is a couch. And it is pronounced zed, not zee, zed. Canada is the second largest landmass, the first nation of hockey, and the best part of North America, my name is Joe, and I am Canadian. Thank You.
Where's the one timers guys? It's all about the one timers in '94. I used to be able to score on command in that game. I would've schooled all of those guys together.
This show continues to tickle me where no other GS show does right now. Awesome work to Homer, Ek, and the crew. I dont even like sports games (bar footy) that much. amazing.
