Funny! :) but i think married life in skyrim will become even more fun once the creation kit tools come out if you catch my drift .BRING ON THE SEX MODS!
As I have heard others say and I agree with is that bethesda is terrible with scripted events they just suck at it but they are masters of the western rpg which is more about exploration then story. I don't play a tes game for story I play it for the story I create and the list of accomplishments that I have done
Spent a month since the game came out on one character doing things i had already planned for her to endure like the theives and darkbrotherhood guild, and the mages guild (tho not planned), pheww all done with Skyrim, NOPE NOW IM GONNA CREATE ANOTHER CHARACTER AND SPEND ANOTHER MONTH DOING THE OTHER HALF OF THE GAME like the companions guild and the war questline.
Faendal FTW. These guys are nuts, magic is ridiculously overpowered. It doesn't have infinite range, that allows you to pwn from 200km away, at medium to short range you can kill anything in no time flat. I tried playing a mage and got bored because it was too easy.
In my game Lydia died in my first battle with her, she was very annoying anyhoo, i think J'Zargo for the win!! i love his voice
Wanted to add more about dragonrend. If you note, when you use it on the dragon, there is kind of like blue mist, around him. It literally brings them down to earth..I will hit them maybe 3 times with dragonrend, they end up being earth bound, and will chase you ..by running on the ground after you. So hit them with Marked for death first, and in order to avoid either the fire breath or the frost breath,..I wait til his health is brought low enough by my wizard companion. Then I go after him from behind his wings...with my 2handed sword. From there it's alot harder for him to breath fire or frost on me, and gives me enough time to smack him good a few times and kill him.
The shouts can be effective, Dragonrend for example..you mention that you don't find it useful. What it is meant to do, is take the dragon down from mid-air. This works for melee characters. I play a character that uses two-handed swords. What is more effective is if you have the shout "Marked for Death"...use that first, then next time the dragon flies above you or close to you, hit it with dragonrend. You'll find it dies alot quicker. It also helps that I have a companion that is an "apprentice wizard" Picked him up in Riften in the tavern. He's a bit annoying, but does like to use lightning on everything, I also feed him scrolls, and spell books. so that he can alternate his skills. I have put in over 200 hours thus far to Skyrim, playing since we were allowed to download on the 10th of November. I agree with you about the companion AI, it can be very frustrating to go in a dungeon, with traps, and have your companion hit the same trap over and over til they almost die. I have heal skills so I heal Marcutio, but he sure is annoying sometimes. :D
