The Gun Show - Weaponized Wildlife Special
Chris Watters cherishes all creatures great and small in an episode full of land sharks, attack dogs, and rainbow unicorns.
by Aaron Sampson and by Chris Watters on
half life had a lot of living guns. hornet gun, fish gun (opposing force), and antlion pods. though I suppose the weren't really "animals"
Has no one played postal 2? or remember the weird weapons you could get in that? the cow head. The cat silencer. and of course peeing on people.
Also Shadows of the Damned had some strange guns, named after boners
The Ratchet & Clank series have some of the best animal guns, turns enemies into an animal then when an enemy comes near to it explodes =P
Land shark definitely the best. It would be great to show whole episode about weapons and items from other planet moon's games, e.g. MDK, and it's sequel. Kinda earth hammer and cowardly ammo pack.
Questions for Infinity Ward:
(1) Will COD Ghosts have an unlockable Combat Dog Gun (that is, a gun that shoots combat dogs like you can hack the old C&C Red Alert infantry weapons to fire if you get clever with the ini files)?
(2) Will COD Ghosts have a Land Shark Gun? How about just a Ghost Gun (you know, make their nightmares of ghosts become oh so very real, like the Legates from Abyss: The Wraiths of Eden)?
(3) In honor of Sharknado, will COD Ghosts have a multiplayer map in which you have to stay on rooftops because sharks swim the ground, their fins sticking out of the ground and chasing you back to high ground, or else? And an occasional mega shark that can eat those helicopters that people call in?
(4) If none of the above, will you slap the head developer with a fish and ask why they didn't want to include sharks or ghosts? How can you call yourselves black ops if you can't even master the shark?!
None of the Morph guns showed up from Ratchet & Clank?! Where's the Chickens? The sheep? The ducks, the pigs, the penguins, the monkeys? The T-Rexes that BREATHE FIRE?!
A few other references missed: HL2's pheromone attack, postal 2's cat sound suppressor, Saints row had a shark gun if i remember correctly. And a few others that i have on the tip of my tongue.
Weaponized wildlife without a reference to the live ammo in Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath? I CAN'T EVEN LOOK AT YOU RIGHT NOW WATTERS!
@sensesfail99 There's a Gun Show for that. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rRofeM3b0pk
@dribblesbarbax really? only? really? your ignorance is showing
@Dirk_McHardpeck armed and dangerous... wickedly hilariously comedy that game was. you needed an xbox though so that may have been the reason you missed on this one... also the same guys that brought us giants: citizen kabuto.
@Dirk_McHardpeck Armed and Dangerous for XBox, released in December 2003. A port for this game to new consoles would be amazing, but its age would show. It is a relatively straight forward shooter that's a blast to play through with friends watching. It's kind of like a B game, by which I mean an OK game that as made with such energy that it became awesome.
@gamingfrendly wonder if it was censured for Australians.
@DigitalDame I must agree. Nothing beats a unicorn farting rainbows.
@AirDog80 It's so bad....that game, just so bad...
@leviathanwing Its my right to be ignorant and I'm proud to be it :p
Its on PC too.
@Kroden Well that was my joke.
