The Future is Now - Robocraft
It's called Robocraft, and you're already missing out on this free-to-play MMO vehicle shooter.
like minecarft and similar games, I still think people would be better off if they would put all the cretivity wasted on those games by players into rel life Projects
since in thec ore ist only cheaply developed free to play rip off stuff ... this really holds back development of people
To start with this is not an MMO but a lobby based game like world of tanks..
Still the game is a lot of fun and you dont see people going around in the same vehicles.. sadly a recent upgrade really messed up the research screen not sure why they decided that was a good diea but there we go.
Progress can be slow unless you sign up for premium access so again similar to world of tanks..
Was looking pretty interesting until the narrator took it to the gutter. That's the problem with a lot of online games. The Jr. High kids invade and it turns juvenile.
It's like Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts on steroids in an MMO paradise. I'm interested
(And yes, I actually think Nuts and Bolts was a great game)
Game looks quite interesting.
And sorry to complain, but the way this video has been edited and cut made me want to puke and beeps on swear words really annoyed me.
Please don't hit me
@hitomo What the..? What do you even mean? Please learn some grammar.
Isn't Guild Wars a lobby based game too - but in 3D? I dunno - haven't played it in years. I never got how that was considered an MMO when it was all dungeons with little outside expedition.
@EliOli Looks like someone's far too high and mighty to have a sense of humour. To see someone take the ending of this video seriously only makes it funnier for people like me.
@grin89 Rob Handlery. His videos always make me smile.
it actually pretty free, theres a premium service you can subscribe to but all that does is make you progress through the ranks and get money faster which thanks to the well implemented tier system, you wont see any out of place players, You can also buy a few cosmetic pieces like national flags but honestly money just makes you rank up faster.
@tasadar24 Then I guess you wont mind missing out on League of Legends then. You know, the biggest e-sports game ever. The most played PC game in NA and Europe in terms of the number of hours played. As of January 2014, over 67 million people playing per month, 27 million per day, and over 7.5 million concurrently during peak hours.
Sigh, if only Robocraft had costed money, then you would play it. Darn those developers.
@tasadar24 What a poor outlook on fun games you have. Yeah its free but that doesnt mean it wont be cool to play, experiment with designs and create arenas with your friends to battle it out in.
@Sevenizz Yeah I totally agree GW1 was never a true mmo.. as you said it basically just had a 3d lobby the game itself was limited to a team of players..
ROFL! Take a good look in the mirror my friend. Re-read that statement of yours from your lofty perch. Not everyone thinks references to genitalia are funny. That doesn't mean they have no sense of humor or that they think they are high and mighty. It means they have different taste. It is usually the much younger crowd that find that kind of stuff funny.I outgrew that kind of humor a long time ago.
If you find it funny then more power to you.Not my cup of tea though
@rob_handlery Why didn't you build a pair of boobs with some propellers on the end or nipple nosed torpedoes? Would that have been considered juvenile and misogynistic by your GS peers?
@warkinghunter What do you unlock with money / ranks?
@EliOli @jellyman68 No it's not usually the younger crowd. You probably just tell yourself that to make yourself feel more sophisticated than those who find it funny. You know what is childish though? Saying that a joke is juvenile, childish, and from "the gutter" when you don't like it. It's a veiled way of saying "waaaaaa stop liking what I don't like".
@EliOli @jellyman68 HELLO! This is a Gaming sight, and gaming is pretty much geared toward young people. Even if you're an old gamer like me (43) then you still get deemed a big kid for being into gaming. It's the absurdity that's funny in the video, not just that he makes a big phallic symbol. To show what extreme of absurdity the game allows, which is great! The vast majority of gamers aren't always trying to be mature or "above it all". Learn to live and let live, we live in a pretty screwed up "politically correct" society already where elitist self important jacka*&SS feel it's their duty in life to be offended at everything that comes along. And then we are fortunate enough to have the likes of South Park to come along and point out the ridiculousness of those very same people and their hypocrissy. Chill out, or don't comment even if you really want to be above it.
Again... Read my comment above. This is a discussion board, yet if people make a comment that is not in agreement with the majority, people start attacking the character of the poster. Perhaps you should take your own advise then my friend.
