The First Templar Video Preview
Maxwell McGee talks about the brutal combat in The First Templar in this video preview.
It's not going to be a AAA game, but it has online Co-Op and that means it has a good chance to be fun to play. I don't expect every game to have the quality of Assassins Creed, and that's why I'm renting it. I'm looking forward to it, I hope it's fun but if not, Hunted: The Demons Forge is just around the corner.
I won't judge a game that I haven't even played but I see some problems: animation stiffness and repetition. I fear it might affect the overall gameplay, I guess.
i don't care what this game looks like,i,ll be playing it,this game might be a sleeper you never know, this is were some of them flag ship game started from.
I agree the graphics look a bit dated and not that good as those of Cursed Crusade, but it got co-op so its def nice to go having sword fight with ur best buddy on-line. Not sure awhile back i seen a early video of the first qeust in this game (actualy gameplay) and there was no voice acting between convo,s hmmm!! Hope they changed that otherwise this realy would make the game dated compared to other simular games out there.
Graphically it looks way behind Assassin's Creed. And movements look robotic. Although, there's hope for a good game.
Skilltree sounds nice.. if you don't mind a character you didn't want. Hey, why not go all the way and put in a totally random skill generator.
Hmm, I wonder if this is the game I read about 2-3 years ago that suggested the protagonist was reliving the crusades and not actually a templar, but I'm thinking that was just early concept for Assassin's Creed 1. Speaking of Assassin's Creed, it looks like this game uses some kind of modified engine with more combat emphasis.
