@Lov3IsPAiN: You obviously don't know what customization means. Changing colors and adding gay flowers is customization. But I do agree that decals do suck and I usually don't want to bother with changing colors too much either. Anyway, I hope they don't add custom body kits for the supercars, because if you think changing a body kit of a 200 000 € car which was designed by a professional you are just sick (sometimes I've seen it work, but never in a video game and always by a professional with lots of practice).
I am looking forward to this game and i will be getting it on release... How on earth can people compare TDU2 to GT5??? LMAO!!! The only thing these 2 games have in common is the fact that there are cars in both and they go VROOOOOOOM!!!
@cuchikapoor yes like you say, GT5 is better for making real car designs but what I like about TDU2 is more about racing your cars in an open world with your friends etc. Not just driving around a racing track. Maybe GT5 cars are better than TDU2, but you can drive on different paths you can only go in the same direction. Plus you can buy house, customize your avatar, and even play in a casino to win exclusive cars. It's GT5 blended with the Sims and GTA.
GT5 holds the record of most polygons in a car model - the premium cars are 400,000 each the tracks are different story Source- Guinness world records 2011 gamer's edition ( great book, get it on amazon for 9 pounds).
Okay, so there is visual customisation!. But will we be able to do/edit/tinker with more things than just picking a design and placing it on the car?
ok ok the auto body custom looks tasty but i want the whole cake not a nibble (what do i mean by that ) the rims, the pipes, etc, you cant forget about them but its probably in the game :D YAAAAY giggidy
simple...you never play test drive unlimited the first one for xbox 360 then you cant complain about this new one i still playing it and 300,000 people around the world..they make this game for the fan like me who still play tdu 1 look at the first video he axplain why they make this game...
I predict that the only value this game will bring to us is the new environment, looks nice... Want real racing with real customization? Play Forza... This will be a big. beautiful, open, EMPTY, environment, just like tdu1.
For all the people who complain about the customisation and that Atari should learn about EA... STOP CRYING!!! If your not happy about the way you can customise, go play NFS. TDU2 is about driving the cars you'll never drive in your life and adding your personel touch to your beautiful car, with vinyls, rims, colors, interiors, etc. Not destroying the dynamics of the car for it to be unrecognizeble. NFS is about boosting your cars to lose the cops. These are not the same kinds of game, yes they are about racing cars, but they don't have the same way of playing them, so stop comparing NFS and TDU2
@peterfaj You know what customisation mean? I don't think it means some flowers on a car and some gay colours.... FFS. So the body kits aren't real or what? You never saw a customized car? In this video, all we saw was some cars with the color changed and some flowers on them. AMAZING!!!!!!!!
Please be a good Game, there haven't been any other decent racing games out for a while besides NFS HP.
Nice... And to the people who want NFS style customization your playing the wrong game. This is about the driving experience and appreciating the machine for what it is, not sticking on a trolley handle. If you can't appreciate the beauty of the cars you drive in this game then maybe stick to something else. I like big wheels and low kits as much as the next guy but that's not what test drive is about. Can't wait to be playing this with my g25 on my 52"... My pants are already getting excited.
hmm..original paint seems better without vinyls.. and make some better customization like body, rims or wings placement..
Physics look really BAD. I don't call this "customisation" if it's only the color and vinyls... And if there's no clutch like in beta, it will be horrible. TDU1 was the best racing game so PLEASE make TDU2 worth my money
i really dont care about ridicuosly costumization on a luxury car... thats ok on a honda civic but not on a aston martin or a ferrari... but something that is really important to me are rims... u know the tires... thats what i want
@Lov3IsPAiN: You're joking, right? I am glad there is no EA-like customization. I'm usually all for customization and freedom (I mean, I could still simply not customize a car if I didn't want to), but this is an online game and I would hate to see hideously deformed cars of other players. Besides, the way it's done here is more realistic, as you can make similar choices when buying a new car IRL. That's as far as colors and interior goes, but I'll rather leave the decals alone.
That's what you call customisation? Maybe you should learn some things from EA before you call it customisation. I have big expectations for this game, but this "customisation" is lame.
It IS just color. That's from their website: -Customize your car with custom paint jobs, decals, interiors and trims. And it looks like it's really just a low-budget piece.
so you can customize you character and the houses to rediculous levels, but the only thing you can do with you car is change the color? Why don't they just market this as a racing addon for sims and be done with it. This could be VERY disappointing when it comes out.
Riced Nissan Z vs Ferrari 458. Ferrari wins regardless while humiliating ricer boy. They'll rice the Veyron too. Purveyors of bad taste unite.
For real? is that all the customization? i only saw painting "customization"... i hope there is a little more that just that...
all that customization stuff looks gay I'm just going to keep my cars the way the manufacturer intented, I hate customizing cars for no reason...Cant wait for the game though
