Salt & Sanctuary, Hand Of Fate, Star Crawlers, Darkest Dungeon, Endless Legend, Neverending Nightmares, Titan Souls were my favorites from the Mega Indie Booth
That last game looked like a first person version of that hacking game that was featured a couple months ago. I forget the name of it.
I really enjoyed the way this video was shot and edited! I think it would be cool to just have one or two different shots a little bit more far away, were we can see them talking like from the side or something, just some quick shot so it isn't always the same thing with the one talking facing the camera while the one listening is showing it's back. I don't know if I made myself clear... But anyway, it's great to see Gamespot trying something different! Keep it going!
ONE OF THE BEST VIDEO PRODUCTIONS I'VE EVER SEEN ON GAMESPOT. This format of handheld capture of a conversation interspersed with booth footage is really a winner. If it was easy to produce, do more! Very engaging!. If possible make the exterior footage brighter or voice it's at dusk or night and use that somehow. Congrats, guys.
I saw Shaun near the Undead Labs booth taking cosplayer photos, was trying to get J.L. Bourne's autograph for my books. Was busy or would have said Hello. Sad it's almost over though :(
Awesome video! And as a bonus, it made me remember Fez and all the years of expectation (and how it felt great to finally play it when it was out)... :)
Bearzekers looks fun as hell.
Magic Circle reminds me of that Double Fine game, Hack 'n' Slash. Except in 1st person and a bit less cartoony.
And Soundself reminds me of this thing that came on the 3DO sample disk were your spinning into and out of this color screen thing and pressing buttons changes the spin and zoom and adds flashes of different color. It was interesting for about 5 minutes. And it sure as hell didn't make me zen or want to cry. Hopefully this is a LOT more interesting(which it seems to be based on peoples' reactions), like some kind of voice base meditation rock garden or something. I could use more zen in my life.
Some interesting looking games there. The Magic Circle especially looks like a really cool concept to explore.
lol, sounds like Mary went off Pax and into some dude's tent :p "The Magic Circle" looks really interesting. The first game that truely lets you "do what you want" when it comes to story and gameplay mehanics. Cool cool cool!
Pax looks awesome! Hopefully, I'll be visiting it a weekend in the future.
@HailHellfire Oh man I played a bunch of those, Endless Legend is awesome!
@JohnyMyko Hey thanks we're working on new ways to show games we like, and thanks for your thoughts on how we can make it even better! :)
@wEEman33 GAME ONNNNN!
You are being sarcastic, aren't you?
@Pawfalcon I was going to say the same thing about The Magic Circle, it sounds very similar to Hack 'n' Slash. I wonder if they were working on it before they had ever heard of Hack 'n' Slash.
@suppaphly42 Someone with grammar like yours should never be criticizing another persons English.
@suppaphly42 Calm down dude
@hystavito Hey, thanks, I think I'll jump into the EA on that one. I don't usually follow what is going on with Double Fine because I find their output quality varies so drastically, so I need to be pointed in the direction of the good ones.
