I really hope this game ends up going really well. It just seems really... I don't know, "wooden" is a good word. The game seems really wooden, not very fluid at all yet. I'll wait for the review, I'm not much of an MMO player (because I love story) but now here's an MMO that is apparently story driven. I'll just have to see what happens.
Either this is just a non-gameplay trailer or he's level 50 fighting level 1 MoB's. The descriptions of combat don't sound like anything gets killed by a lightsaber one-hit. It sounds like you have to keep using the attack skills until your enemy is dead, in typical MMO fasion.
guys guys, really just take a good look at the game. you honestly cant say they are even decent for this gen? come on
It's the star wars universe, there is not blood. More realisim like burnt marks from lasers, and such would be nice though.
Lacks realism to me. A bit stiff. Didn't make me feel excited and wanting to see more. As much as I want to like the game - this trailer left me indifferent. Perhaps there are other thrilling sides to the game. We'll see in due time.
It is an MMO I do not know why people are expecting amazing graphics...they are making a huge game that can run well on most PC so that more player can play together...
I still say the graphics dont look much better then Kotor2 looked, and that game is old now. Most computers now are we capable of showing better, and the animations are just stiff
The graphics are awsome, but the animation looks weird, as their is no facial expression. Also the killing is sort of ...........stupid. If you slash someone, they die, but no marks of death are on the person. I admit blood doesnt make a game, but having none at all is really upsetting.
The Rage ad before the trailer looks better...and I'm not complaining about SWTOR's graphics. But the animations and art style of SWTOR don't appeal.
@tsunami2311 The graphics are exactly as they need to be. Remember, this is an MMORPG. The graphic detail has to be capable of running on most everyones computer. If you look at it, almost all MMORPGs that had intensive graphic settings ended up failing. ___________________________________________ Yep, I agree - my rig is capable enough (can run new games... just), so this being lower minimum spec makes it totally accessible to me. If it was high minimum spec then I would most probably pass on it... don't have the $$$ to fork out for new systems on a whim. TOR and GW2 look sweet... and I don't even play MMO's haha..(keen to try them though as these two releases look dope)

I wonder how they're going to handle side imbalance (or if that's even going to be a factor). I can see people wanting to be a sith armored, mechanical lightsaber user rather than a jedi bathrobe wearing lightsaber user.
i can't wait for this to come out so i can see what other high end sith gear there is because it's badass!.
Despite the fact the Animations still look stiff and graphics being dated,(but then all the Kotors where the same) I been waiting for this game to come out, and I still am. Would love to know pricing, Would also like to know if they ever plan to do a KOTOR 3
I don't know why I'm so excited about this game, it really doesn't look that appealing to me. I guess the name Bioware carries a lot of weight! Hopefully it doesn't tank like every other MMO post-WoW.
Sith Marauder wins, Fatality!!!! Nothing like going predator cloak before wooping up on some fools!!
Nice. Would be good to see a little more destruction though. Robots being cut into pieces, dismemberment... I mean, the movies had this stuff so why not the game?
That stealthy Warrior was pretty impressive. Armor looked soo dope. The juggernaut was impressive too.
@dragoneye1 Unfortunately, they will never have full dismemberment in a Star Wars game. There is only 1 bloody dismemberment scene in all of the SW movies, and that was in the first one. The games are targeted for marketing ALL ages, both young and old. They dont want to have to slap a M rating and lose out on the kids playing. Besides, AOC has dismemberment. And while its cool the first few times, it gets boring after a while.
