Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2 Ken Balough Interview
Check out our interview with digital brand manager Ken Balough and a teaser trailer for Sonic 4: Episode 2.
@Mario_sonic_man --> I'm with you, Mario_sonic_man. I don't see why they avoided releasing the game on the Wii when episode 1 was released on it. I mean I don't buy games on my Wii to download but it would just make sense to release episode 2 on the Wii also. Sad really...
why did they cancel the wii release? D: how else am i gonna put sonic episode 1 and 2 togeather now?
I never was a fan of Sonic until Sonic generations.By a strange way I felt like was playing like the oldtimes but with the new features like the 3d scenarios .Very cool game.I hope this new Sonic game will be as cool and I can overlook that strange bear.
Smashing out Sonic Generations right now with my nephew. Quite a change from COD, GT5 and FIFA12. Its WAY easier than the original but its really fun and easy to pick up. This Ken dude needs to get laid.
wow this game looks suck, if i bought it i would buy it on ps3 just cause xbox sucks so bad but im sure this game will suck like most other sonic games o well
I love episode one looking forward to episode 2. will buy it on xbox 360. wish i could have the windows phone version for free when buying on xbox because when i buy it on xbox i will not want to spend money on the same game on windows phone.
I feel uncomfortable with his facial hair. Because Tails... his tails are usually around his butt region... so on his face?... Anyways. I didn't think they were even going to release Episode 2, but I'm glad they changed things up. Anyone else find it hilarious at the end that he left out the Wii?
90% of the time, I find Sonic games very playable and reasonably fun, however rushed and hurriedly cobbled together they tend to be these days. So I'll be picking this up, come what may. I know, I'm a brand victim. Still, I hope as much as everybody else does that they make some serious improvements over Episode I this time. Even by Sonic's standards, I found it very ho hum. The content of the game was too short-lived and shallow (a problem that plagues the Sonic Rush series imho), while the Special Stages were very difficult.
Reading comments waiting for video to load: Wow, someones beard is apparently god-awful. Video loads and starts: WTF IS ON HIS FACE?!
Despite what some people say, I enjoyed Sonic 4: Episode 1. It's always nice to have a 2D Sonic game which was actually fun to play.
If people want to play a great sonic game, play sonic generations! It's deffinetly THE sonic game that I had been waiting for, besides colors, since sonic adventure 2!
Uh Captain Victory, what pray tell what was new about Episode1? I mean aside from uninspired level layouts and sluggish controls? I give credit to the spin on special stages and parts of lost labyrinth however. If Generations is any indication, they are definitely moving in the right direction in terms of both of those.
why doesn't anyone take into consideration that sonic colors and sonic generations were GREAT games?
I hope it turns out to be Sonic the Hedgehog 2 all over again, you know as in, being better than the previos one and having tails annoy the s**t out of us by screwing up the bonus levels, that sort of thing XD
Sonic 4 Ep 1 was pretty bad.....but what he's saying about episode 2 actually sounds good....especially the physics, Sonic 4 felt nothing like a classic genesis sonic should feel and i'm glad there fixing it! Although it should have been like that in the first place.....and also.....Wii VERSION?!
Episode 1 was awesome. If you couldn't enjoy it then you obviously just want Sonic to fail so go lock yourself in the closet with your Genesis and never accept anything new again.
I like the sound of no longer uncurling and not sticking to slopes, but he didn't say anything about the slow acceleration that plagued the first.
