im SO sick of them ruining these amazing games :(:(:(.. They are just riding the name Silent Hill and resident Evil, its so sad.
@XxgunsxX: Try Amnesia: The Dark Descent (PC). It's even scarier than Silent Hill 2 IMO as it's the scariest game I've ever played. Search Youtube for the trailer!
Looks good. Too bad Double Helix traumatized me in the last installment. It might repulse me from actually getting this one. I'll wait on the reviews b4 buying.
U know what? the composer is no longer Akira Yamaoka, It's Daniel Licht :( :( I doubt he could deliver :( :(
i want a game that make me shtt on my pans ps1 use to have very good scary games why can they make em better and more realystic on ps3 and pc..??
Lost all faith in this series...and finally a cohesive story? Point = missed. Silent Hill is dead to me.
hmmm... looks like they might go back to sh1 for this one. Still love and hate the full blown hell town from 1. Not seeing whats in front of you, pure blackness, bloodied and dirty mental hospitals and schools, bottomless floors with metal grates, and the fear of actually descending into a murderous hell with creatures you can't explain. Something that will intrigue and scare the Jesus out of you is what I love about Silent Hill.
KEEN! I've owned the first Silent Hill for years and never played it much, but then I rented Homecoming and loved it, that really got me into the rest of the games.
Oh i love silent hill! this one looks gnarly...I hope the next one is Silent hill:Charlie sheen...now thats scary
Some of the animations look stiff... Particularly the running animation. Looks really unconvincing and kind of like "light jogging" than full-on sprinting. If they fix that, this looks suitably atmospheric and frightening enough.
i want a game that feel lil realistic but verry dam scary that i wana stop playing why they can make good games like they did in ps1 lmao come on cant believe they make crap games for such a hight tech systems like ps3
Will wait and see how this game is.....i love silent hill but silent hill homecoming has me a bit worried about future silent hill games.....
I'm not too familiar with the Silent Hill franchise, but it looks similar to Alan Wake, and I really enjoyed that game, so it looks interesting!
Just started playing dead space. I hope it can get kinda good so i can renew my terror library sector.
i got feeling that the game is going to be awsome i never played silent hill before but i will buy silent hill homecoming and this one 2
Omg this is asome I switched platform from psone to xbox so I forgott the rest of the silent hill series but omg the scene where he walks through the alley and the small children come out and play whit Mason. It feels like they are going back to the first game.
What the hell is wrong with some of the people on here? You call yourselves gamers? This looks amazing and Homecoming was awesome! Did you actually play it?! How could you not like that incredible Hell Descent level or the boss fight with Scarlet?? Some of the best sequences I've ever seen in a game. You must be a bunch of graphics whores. This is a GAME, not reality. So stop trying so hard to make it look that way, CLOWNS.
I never had a chance to play the first Silent Hill games, but I studied their storylines with a passion. I've waited since then for the next great one to be released. I'm not fully convinced yet, but this just might be it!
Although I am a Silent Hill fan, I don't have very high expectations for this one. After the mediocre Homecoming, I can't expect much even from a different company.
@prowler666: SH4 was probaly the most different one out of all the Silent Hill games so far. People don't want the Silent Hill series to remain exactly the same but long time SH fans want the game series to go back to it's roots, what SH1,2 and 3 did was perfect. Yeah the game play in all 3 was very much the same, but it really worked. So far the only one I haven't liked a whole lot was 4, it just barley felt like a SH game to me, but it was still enjoyable to a certain extent. Origins was too short and Homecoming had way to much focus on combat and not enough on atmosphere and story.
