Shank Daily Demo
Today on the Spot, Alex Charlow stops by with a demo of Shank.
Promising game, feels like a Gorillaz-ish gaphical style, and animation have an Exit feel to it, it looks like it's gonna be a pain in the ass to finish (just look at the flow of enemies coming ahead and at your back), it's gonna be quite challenging in further levels, since it's just a demo level meant to showcase the game graphics and its mechanics. Ah at last, developers began to understand that 3D is not a must to make a game entertaining. Go retro, people!
This game looks amazingly fun. It could use 2 player co-op, and I hope it's long. It's a great marriage of old-school conventions and today's horsepower.
LOOKS FUN. for once a "simple" game everyone can enjoy. Nothing like going back to the "Basics" once again. Anyone Remember "Rush N Attack"? for LOL..good times. revisited.
I'll will get this on Xboxlive! @Mar28jw It do look like it plays like The Dishwasher! But this got a whole team of people making the game.not just one person.
I do want this game, but I want it to be challenging and visceral. I expect it to be short, but as the guy said, it's quality that counts.
Looks good 2 concerns are doesn't look like it will be very hard and possibly too short? and No 2 player Co-op!? If your going to make an old school beat'em up thats a necessity in my opinion
I havent heard of klei entertainment before, but it seems that they did an excellent job.The animations and shank's moves are very awesome looking.I'm gonna get it for pc, but i think the console versions are going to be slightly better, because of the advantages of controllers in a platformer game.I cant wait for it.
Looks great and the game play looks like a ton of fun. So happy it is coming to PC. Can't wait to get mah hands on it.
