is there anyway some one can give me a code for the beta for xbox one.? i had one because i pre ordered from gamestop but i thought the time limit tuo use it was the same as the ps4 and i found my reciept a day later. Because of that i put the reciept in the trash(because i could still pick the game up wit my power up card) and now that i know i can still use it i regret trowing it away =[
In the Sky watch area, by the cliff there there are old rusted helicopters, if you do a small jump over the railing, you run into a Hallowed Orge, who has no F's to give. Some times it is a hallowed Knight, but you also can find another Orge in a side cave if you to enter through the grotto and follow along the right wall. There is a silver chest in there.
Seriously this video went right past it a number of times.
Oh and good luck on that one.
In the room where you fight the1st Wizard (The one that used to come from the moon.): If you start on the right as you enter the 'wizard room' and jump up and to the left you can make it to an elevated platform and find a gold(?) chest. Easiest in the later mission when you return to the area and after you defeat the Fallen and Hive fighting each other.
If you travel to the spot where you first fought a wizard, I believe it was the second mission probably, but if you jump on top of the small hanger you will be able to find another vehicle. Its the S-22 Nomad. Similar to the Sparrow, but faster and has more durability.
not only that, there was an invent popped up while I was doing my mission. It had 5 mins timer and I had to destroy a freaking elephant tank before I unlock my heavy weapon. Not only that, infinite enemies were respawning. What a terrible timing it was for me
Those lvl 11 enemies can be defeated when you're lvl 8, guess it doesn't let you damage enemies above +3 lvl.
Reason #123 why this game needs a map.
"Hey I found this really cool thing you should go see!!!"
"Really? Where is it?"
"How did you get there?"
ps4 beta code. i need it i want it i gotta have it. no not really but it would be cool to play something other than the 2 games ps4 has out lol
The graphics are quite impressive. I have yet to be blown away from the gameplay. That may change when the game officially launches with more areas to explore and room for more class and character development.
I gotta wonder if those hallowed knights are immune to arc and void damage... I should go check that out.
Yeah, saw those. Said "nope", turned back. If you see an enemy with ?? level, Bungie doesn't want you to go there. They will one shot you and resist every type of damage.
shouldn't have seen it. now i'll go back to looking at my PS3 version with extreme prejucice >.>
why no PC D:
@kloudstrife132 if you still need one, send me a message, i have an extra
@Echelon730 me and my buddy's went to him like 5 times with rocket launchers we did nothing to him that guy that just doesn't give a $#!&.
@Ansonicus it will be
@brikov oh thanks, I didn't find this one!
@lildrummer220 oh thanks for this!
@maitkarro thats not true at all. Stop making up stuff.
@maitkarro It just doesn't allow you to damage them at all? That just seems dumb. I can understand if they have much better armour but even if it's just tiny amounts, they should take some damage.
@greywolf333 And on PS4/3 you could just preorder the game from the PSN and get a beta right away (maybe you'll need PSN+), and you could also even cancel the preorder after you've got the beta download. Dunno if you can peorder the game from Xbox Live.
@HackedLife Yep. A map of the tower, a place you visit so many times that you could navigate it in your sleep....
I haven't tried it but is the Share button functional? Maybe that is how they expect you to let people know? If not in the Beta then in the full game.
Pre-order the game on amazon and then cancel the pro-order. They don't charge you until the game actually ships, but the second you pro-order they email you a beta code instantly.
@cursedfrombirth Then get PSN+ you would be getting so much more then.
@cursedfrombirth Voucher Code for PS4: BK5P-Q7NL-8BAG
@rawkstar007 considering the leveling has been ramped up, and that this beta is about 1% of the actual game. i feel confident that it will be better. hell, there is a ton to explore just in old russia that we arent able to explore because of the "???" mobs blocking our path, and other areas they have blocked of with walls.
@EdAl2112 Tried to assault them with an all level 8 fire team and it did not end well. We weren't sure there was a loot chest back there, so we said eff it.
@tommynj I thought the same thing till I actually played it.
@tommynj Not really.
@chaos-commander You can kill him. You need 2-3 people, with rockets all shooting behind his feet, in the door way, and off the cliff he goes.
@Kairysama @tommynj Dude, This plays nothing like borderlands. It Feels much more like an mmo, except for not being too satchurated with players and no looming stress that you have to grind for resources to get your money's worth. Also, No sub fee. I think bungie may have the balance down, then again this is a Beta and there will be more players at launch. So far I haven't seen more than 20 people on screen, and if your close to other people who grab rewards (like XP or guns) you get something too. (I got some "glimmer" and a gun, and I didn't do anything but run through.) Free roaming is great, and Fireteam co-op is not public I think.
@Rooten lol more like next spring or summer...
@Darkangel2154 @brikov @HackedLife yep, it is easy to remember after playing for a while! and what's the challenge to have a map and know where everything is, Bungie want us to explore the game ;) and I'm ok with that!
@rampage-05 Well, after watching this video, I just ran past them to the loot chest. I got a level 9 gun that I can't use and some cash. I'm sure the enemies would drop valuable loot if I could kill them.
Agree with everything you said, that was the Point I wanted to make, in my opinion this game is something special the controls and the sensitivity of the sticks feels great, The atmosphere is unreal I found myself just looking around for about half an hour, didn't fire a single shot. Can't wait for release day. 100% day one purchase.
Oh Btw this is my first time playing an fps game on console and boy I'm glad I started with Destiny.
@Sruppert @Kairysama @tommynj Don't forget Bungie's secret sauce for console FPS controls. It just feels right. Just like Halo did. And the DS4's triggers and sticks suit it perfectly.
I have encountered other people while roaming with my fire team. Even other fire teams. We do see generally fewer people though.
in alpha there was an open door at the first area of the sewage area he showed. Beta has that door closed. But yea pretty sure they have some nice drops
@rampage-05 It would seem the beta is littered with placeholders and areas where content has been removed in order to save it for the retail release. In the story's opening quest (the one with the same map that we saw in the E3 2013 reveal), for example, the giant Fallen boss that was shown coming out of the hole in the wall near the beginning was not present. The hole is still there and I even waited a few seconds - and I've been through it once with each class. Either it'll be in the retail release or that's content you'll have to backtrack to. Otherwise, there's no point leaving that hole there. I've encountered similar looking holes, and dead-end areas that seem like they should contain loot chests or enemy spawn points, because otherwise they have no purpose.
@gokartmozart89 I battled that boss in exploration mode. You pick up that quest as one of the green beacon missions. But I do remember the E3 reveal where that was part of the campaign.
