"and in this cassssssssse" "sssssso one of the thingsssss we're trying to do in the sssssssssequel issssssss a lot more thingssssssssss to do and thingsssssssss to interact with"
His voice is geeky, but it didn't bother me - okay sure it's not upbeat voice to keep you interested but hey, thats just the way he is. Anyway, more of the game, I admit I have not played the first one yes as I wasn't too sure about it. But seeing this video I think, for sure, I'm going to check out the first one. Seems a little slow for my liking, but it looks channelling which interests me even more, though thinking about it I might get a little bored... Or get through the game very quickly - So I don't think I'll be buying the game ... Unless I trade it back in the store for XP points :D
I also think the guy talking doesn' know how to sell his merchendise. He spoiled the game by telling us there are 2 endings and 5 levels. He also highlights weaknesses in the game, like stupid AI ("runs only in a straight line"), poor camera controll (look at the part he crawls under the fence) and poor death scenes -I've seen much better wall crushing in games. Not to mention his voice is really unatractive and geeky
poor presentation, and poor job highlighting what should should be a selling point. I want blood and guts, not rats, simplistic minigames, and enemies with an AI of N64 enemy. This series has such potential. but this doesnt seem like it accomplishes it
The first one was decent for what it was, but it had a lot of flaws and it would have been easy to make a much better game by fixing those flaws, which is why I was origninally interested in a sequel. Instead it looks like they just made the same thing with the same stupid minigames, lame combat, and skimped on the gore again.
It seems that they put too much effort in making the elements creepy around them but it doesn't have the intensity nor the gore that simply IS Saw. Hmm.. I also wonder why they aren't releasing it for the PC like they did the first game? I'm more of a PC gamer myself than anything else.. well, no big.. don't want to play this anyways. Not Saw enough.
this really doesnt look very good.. the logic based combat example that was shown couldnt have been easier to figure out..haha and the puzzles just look so weak..
Looking forward to see if they've improved the formula. The previous one made some things right (ambience, some puzzles), but others pretty wrong (like the combat and camera) but it wasn't a bad game, considering all the problems they had to release it. Let's hope the final version is as gory as the movies, because that's what I wanna see.
The game needs more blood and gore, because that is what Saw is known for. Im hoping for the best, but after seeing this trailer, Im having serious doubts. I was a victim of paying full price for the first one, and I wont make that mistake twice
I didn't think that the first Saw game was that terrible. It was very repetitive and got boring at some points, but for the most part it was scary and entertaining, which is what I rented it for. Of course I would never dare buy the game, but it is definitely worth the rent. If you don't want a game that is mearly meant to scare you, then the Saw games arent what you're looking for. Hopefully this game fixed a lot of what bothered many people with the first one so it can possibly be a very good game.
I just can't make myself play this, It's past failure just makes the game series unforgivable, not to mention a roll action would've been useful instead of going for the weak side step, that's just showing how lazy they are.
Achievment Unlocked: 5G- Keep on Walkin', the graphics are good alittle to much button mashing, and all N all its just and achievment game, definitley a rent, and should of left it as a movie.
i liked saw until the last movie that came out, when all the commercials were like "you wont believe how it ends". then the next week they had a tv program with people trying out for the next movie.. bait and switch ftl.
i think that they should've had two players to make it seem more like the movie. could've been more interesting to play with a friend in the game
I personally kind of see this as an alternate storyline to the movies. I can see what people mean though. So far I am semi-impressed, the actual puzzles were very impressive in the first game, but traveling the areas and the actual combat were very tiresome. They seem to improve on those, but I am not happy to see so many people being killed in the background, seems very un-Saw like.
actually seems promising. i like the new lockpick, and i like "smart" combat that is not slugging it out (again, could be hamfisted but i like the idea).
antonio151 i disagree. this game especially is showing far to many people being killed and tortured, all at once, showing jigsaw as a beast, which we all know isnt, he's just an old genious. it ends up being inconsistant with the movies, and i cant see how there gonna tie these games together with the movies without causing mass inconsistancies. on top of that, jigsaws thing was to prove a point to society, not just the individuals. as for the movies, its personal opinion as to if the movies ruined the movies, and as for me, im waiting on 7 to come out before i judge that, seeing as 7 is the last movie.
I like the 1st and 3rd movie, but Im not really sure this concept works for video gamming, anyway I havent play it at all, but a plus is the game atmosphere it really looks like the movie.
Ok looks like the gameplay is better than the first game...But nothing can assure me it's going to be epic....tho i'm buying this sh*t, I just love to watch people suffer, even if they're just robotic a*sholes :D
cool idea but what they charge for games these days you really need something that is enjoyable again and again. I'm really not seeing that with this game if at all..
Looks like it might be kind of fun to play with the lights out but it seems a little rushed. Might rent this one.
