We sit down with Paradox Development Studio producer Linda Kiby to take a look at Runemaster, a tactical RPG that breaks away from the studio's typical strategy titles.
Did you enjoy this video?
The world looks interesting, but I would have liked to have seen some battles and how the weapns, armor and inventory looked. If this is a tactical game, how many characters will you be able to control at one time? How many will you battle at once. Is this RT fighting or Ooint & Click & Watch & Wait. They really didn;t tell us much about the game itself. Just showed the world and talked about the mythology and story. All of that could have been said in 30secs. Terrible presentation.
This looks pretty good.
Nothing wrong with articles but then I would much rather see the gameplay footage and judge for myself.
look at any new site name one that still writes articles
All of the gaming news sites have lost the plot, It's all about money to most of them now.
By tactical u mean hack n slash >.>
An article is not a review.
*screen images are simulated*
the game isn't made yet so how can they do a reveiw of something that doesn't even have beta yet
Somebody remake Gladius. that was a kick ass game
Can GameSpot not be arsed to write articles anymore?
Looks very good.
can we expect linux support ?
It would have made a more convincing argument if they actually showed what made this game a Tactical RPG. Perhaps it's too early in the development stage to show off combat, but it's one of the key selling points for any RPG. A real shame that we didn't see any.
I am getting a huge King's Bounty vibe here.
That... did not show much. Its a tactical RPG based on Norse mythology with a Diablo style map and emergent quests. Did I miss anything in that 1 sentence?
Uh!!! I don't want to see those people, just show me what the game have to offer, and it's boring at hell judging from this video.
This is a Preview
reading must be hell for you mate...
@sunbeam4 I would expect it. Paradox has said before they love Linux, and they use it for most of their projects.
Why would they even bother? Just get windows you elitist conspiracy theory fucktard! It's basically Linux anyway..
