guys, im looking for a FREAKING squad to complete on Hardcore difficulty. I've been at it for ages with my kid in offline co-op, but this is a mode to be completed with 4 players. Besides, this is NOT for the faint of heart. check points are far and between, and battles are tough as hell!!!. so ,whoever is down for this, add me (please no blank invites) and I got a mike too Im: cnx2022
normal setting is a blast, but hardcore is a different issue. I have been trying at it for a while, and it feels almost impossible. What I hate most, is that, this being a MULTIPLAYER game, it SUCKS to see most of its trophies can only be aquired in single player. That is SOOOooo stupid. Why would you promote single playing when this is a CO-op game??? The check points are VERY FAR and BETWEEN and with the toughness of Hardcore, wow. Though I have not tried it with 4 players. Please add me whoever gets this game and is interested in completing its hardcore mode. I am a ps3 player. my username is: cnx2022
This game tickles the nostalgia core of my brain. It's exactly like a cartoon from the 90's just with more blood and death. Leave it to Avalanche to release a game that is wonderfully over the top in all ways.
Out of all the countless number of dual stick shooters I've played, this has to be the best and most fun game I've played. I love Renegade Ops.
I may have to get this, it looks like soo much fun. I wish motion comics weren't so popular. They seem like a lazy way to tell a story. Good review Carolyn.
look guys played it not worth playing the controls are are just terrible it would not let turn around if i did turn around i can't go back the way i came.
Definitely a great game. I've seen some comments about it being reminiscent of Jungle and Desert Strike, and I got that vibe as well. I recommend a purchase.
1 - I'm really impressed by how much Petit's dialogue has improved. This review contained some much enthusiasm and genuine enjoyment it was hard not to smile while I was listening, and really made me want to play. The content was, as always, very good, covering all of the points in which I was most interested. 2 - The design appears very console focused, which makes sense, but as a PC gamer and arcade game lover I'm really dying to know how the transition from dual analog sticks ports to a keyboard and mouse. 3 - I wish I could play this game at a beach arcade. Ah, those were the days.
Looks good fun, great review. Kinda reminds me of one of my all time favourite shooters - Super Swiv.
This game looks quality!! Amazing. I saw it on the store but glanced right over it, may have to pick it now I've seen this. Kind of reminds me of the old PC racer Ignition - not for gameplay, but for the style and graphics. Looks sweet :)
And yeah a new jungle strike with coop missions and stuff would be amazing, ive been saying the same about the old MicroMachines games, the N64 version with four people is still one of the best party games out there! Would be so cool in HD and online with 8 people!
Looks good, but I am SOOOO sick of hearing that cheesy voice actor for the General Bryant character,he's in so many games (split/second is one for sure) and he ALWAYS delivers his lines the same way... Another reoccuring cutprit is that guy who voices wolverine in cartoons and games, im pretty sure he was in BulletStorm doing his one trick pony act, the character even looked just like Wolverine.. Why do devs keep spooning us the same old sh*t when it comes to voices in games!!
Yeah....I'd much rather have a remake or new entry in the Jungle Strike series. The AH-64 Apache and Comanche that EA used in that series was more tactical, you could fight most encounters on your own terms. If an area was too hot you could go to a less heated area or brave the fortified defenses just for the extra challenge, this has you in the middle of the action the whole time with no breathing room whatsoever.......at least that's how I felt...
too bad there isn't a PS3 version, or else I would buy it I have a house party at my house tomorrow, I think this game looks great and would be easy for anyone to pick up and blast some stuff
Hm... this nostalgia feeling. Looks like combination of Jackal and Jungle Strike with superb graphic. A definite buy for old gamers.
@samirus nice to see I'm not the only one here who played the hell out of Jackal, I was very young tho.
@AtlasXIITrue but it is more like a great one since the levels stand out cause the difficulty can be adjusted.
