I'm really hoping this game is decent. Most of the trailers look promising enough though this one did give me a headache because I'm old. The gaming audience is hungry for more good original IPs, something that's a lost art in today's industry.
remember after it was announced it was pegged as a stealth game where you snuck around to alter peoples memories? this combat trailer is making me think that this is not the case and that the memory altering (the main premise that people got hyped about) will actually make up an extremely small portion of the game
will wait for some actual gameplay and reviews to drop before deciding on whether to purchase as i reckon this could be another aliens colonial marines fandango where we could hyped by trailers only for them not to reflect the final product in the slightest
really hoping that capcom shoots down my hesitation to buy this
So its basically a Beat 'em up game..This game could be much better if it was an Action RPG with a futuristic world and characters to explore...a futuristic action RPG with a combat system like this would be great...its a shame..
I hope this game does well with the combat, parkour and exploration elements. Really looking forward to this.
Meh.. the music is what makes this game seem more exciting than it actually is. Also the graphics look unfinished. Not my dealio.
Gonna Pown this Game! N if has MP gna Pown every1 Music is cooL! hope all tunez in da game r like this :D roll on june4th my BDay too :P
if this game didn't have a female protagonist, I'd discard it like any other god of war esque genres.
So, the trailer seems like it was designed to hype the sh*t out of people. And one thing Capcom is good at doing is just that. Hype everything up with a bunch of syntaxes and moves that make everybody cream their pants.
But when you get down to it, I'm not sold. I think I will wait until some solid gameplay footage comes out before I sink my money into it. And if it doesn't have multiplayer, its a no-buy.
Its all about the combat system, if its fluid and doesn't feel stiff I'm in!
P.S Please put it on Steam.
Everything about this game has me interested except the combat. The trailer makes it look pretty good, but I've seem the combat footage several times and it looks nowhere near as fluid as it looks in this trailer.
this might be first game since akuma's wraith coming from capcom I intrested, But then Capcom didnt make either the 2 games which probably why i interested.... On a side not Where is my Breath of Fire 6 capcom?
That trailer is underwhelming. This game looks like it has some interesting ideas but I'm not sure if they are all coming together or not. And this trailer makes me think they aren't.
I love the setting, and I'm still very interested in the game. I'll wait for actual gameplay footage and reviews, but if it turns out well, I'll be picking this one up shortly after release.
yeah i think ill be playing this but nothing i havent seen before..saying that i do love the deus ex feel..
This ^ ... the combat will make or break this game. I think the atmosphere will be very easy to sink into, it's the playability they have to get right. I'm optimistic, because there seems to be a lot of good creativity gone into it, so I think the devs really care about this game. I could be wrong.
@Kairysama you can preorder it already on steam
@wwlettsome the more i see on this game the more i think that capcom are going to drop the ball after building a ton of hype in flashy dubstep trailers
@khatibi22 The female protagonist is the cherry on top for me. I love the cyber-punk look of the game and combat looks vicious in this video! Looking forward to this game.
@Breyant I agree. The art style looks vaguely similar to DmC, but it has enough cyberpunk elements to kind of have a Deus Ex feel as well.
@Bhemont @Kairysama I'm not ganna preorder it, ganna wait for some actual gameplay footage and reviews etc..
P.S I dont know why but watching the combat system makes me feel weird, it looks uncomfortable.
