Why are water levels always in platformers? Aren't they universally hated? Really looking forward to this the previous installment was damned near perfect! I am a little worried about that touch screen stuff, never a good idea in a game like this to force the player to remove their hands from the controller.
the release date is a holiday in my personal religion, and you best believe i'm going to celebrate big time
Hope this comes to PC. The day Rayman Origins graced my PC is the day I remembered games were once actually fun to play.
You know.... despite what other Nintendo fans are saying... I'm probably not going to overlook this one just cus' it got held back to go multiplatform... and honestly I don't mind if other consoles get it...
I really loved the Vita version of Rayman Origins so getting this game is a no brainer. It looks pretty solid.
Is it weird that this is my second most anticipated game, right after GTA V? Seems to be quite the opposites.
It really sucks compared to the Wii U version. Having to push buttons for some actions which were designed for touch controls?
waiting to get my hands on the vita release so far i couldn't get a better 2d platformer than rayman origins seems like i may get soon the rayman legends.
Rayman origins for PSVita is one of the vita games i truly enjoy. Legends, hopefully, would be no different
They still should have released this for the Wii U in feb and just put the new stuff up as free DLC. Pushing it off until the new date, even on more platforms I feel this game is going to get overlooked because of, well GTAV, several other games and then next gen systems shortly after.
I think UBI didn't help the situation any and they should have taken the solid 500k+ sold on Wii U and then released the other systems versions later on like they are doing now. The game looks great however and I hope it does do well.
@Diegoctba Ironically they're all on the Wii U.
@001011000101101 Mine too
@LordCrash88 LOL PC has no games!!!!
@nickpeck36 That's what Ubisoft gets for trying to back out of the exclusivity deal they made with Nintendo. I'm sure the game would have pushed some consoles, and sold relatively well, since it was one of the few games that have a playable demo in stores on the Wii U. I played it at the store and was interested in getting in for Wii U, until they pushed it back to September when GTA V comes out. So Rayman will probably be passed over by me for Nintendo's first party titles. Maybe next summer for Rahman. Maybe not.
@SilentAssassin Not at all. Rayman, Sonic and Mario are three platformers but way different among them. Each one is a sub-cathegory in its own. Origins is already a great game, lightyears ahead of the original Raymans, and this, I'm confident, will be even greater, based on the Wii U demo/app
