I never thought I would see a video where he is actually playing the way it should and not fooling around.

The online features really made this game addictive and some other game suggestions are: Alien Storm [1990] and Alien Soldier [1995].

It's just like "N Ninja" with a bugget, easier and without annoying missiles.

I get what he's saying about how the game isn't as impossible as it looks, and I totally agree,

but I still think Danny is generally the best gamer on the GS staff, on either side of the Atlantic.

I just had to go and watch the cut scenes after this. Twisted and cute. It certainly made me smile.

This seems to be the only type of game that indie developers have been making. They're just as bad for puzzle games as mainstream developers are for first person shooters.

Danny can you please tell me the name of the intro music?

Maybe something serious next time. Lone Survivor is excellent but not so famous game. I think it is very fitting for RE.

PS. I think that both Super Meat Boy and Binding of Isaac sucks. This games are highly overrated. :-P

Some pro gaming there Danny. Now make Johnny play it in a "falling in love with meatboy" segment.

My 9 year old nephew watched me play SMB and when he saw the squirrel cutscene he was shocked for a second, then he laughed, I think that introduced him to the concept of dark humor.

Best 2D platformer in recent years.

This guy's next game is a Crazy Cat Lady sim where you manage cats. I kid you not

You should get Don't Starve. It's a creepy as hell survival craft game that gets more complex the longer you play. It's also impressively challenging.

@Dazerian Well, you can change your statement from "i think they suck" to "I don't like them". It doesn´t take too much effort to see that regardless of your opinion they are 2 well designed games.

And, seriously? Name 1 2D platformer that is better than Super Meat Boy in the last years so at least we know where you're coming from...

@stealth6spy It's puzzle-like. You still have to figure out how to get through the obstacles. No different than Limbo. There's another game where you're dodging lasers from eyes that spot you in the dark. Same thing. I support indie games so I really hope this doesn't become a trend.

I've tried "Don't Starve". Although it's not for me, it's nice that someone tried something fresh. That's why I love indie devs.

@capper64 Still falls in the general category. Give the guy a gun and suddenly it's a platformer-shooter. OMG it's totally different! Same crap, different color. The way they're naming genres these days, it shouldn't be long before two copies of the same game have different genres.

@Snaptrap @stealth6spy Limbo is a puzzle platformer. This is pretty much pure platformer. The way to get through is almost always immediately apparent, it's just actually managing to get through that's hard.
