Random Encounter - Elasto Mania
Watch as Seb and Sarah lose their minds to frustration playing Elasto Mania, the stupidly tricky motorbike game we'd all but forgotten about.
I remember my friend playing it. When I first saw it i was "wow, great game, where can I get it?"
And he just turned to me and said "Dude, you don't want to start playing this. Trust me, it'll get on your nerves"
I now see he was dead right!
Oh my god, this game!!! I spent way too many infuriating hours on this game when i was little to eventually beat all its 50 or 70 something levels. One of those games where you have no idea why but are strangely compelled to keep trying to beat it. There are levels which have far more bs than you can possibly imagine....
The tyme before Trials took over the world. More game suggestions are: Demon's Crest and Awesomenauts .
oh MAN! Talk about your nostalgic blast from the past! Remember playing this game for hours while at school.
I think you could download maps, skins etc. and also create your own. Funny game, and I like "The Villager" and Sarah -what a duo! @poormallard : Yes...we did see that ;p A girl got skills
Seb, you're awesome :) If it weren't for the fact that my headphones killed me when she screamed a couple of times, I'd say the same about Sarah XD
Random Encounter will be live on GameSpot/Twitch tomorrow, Friday and Saturday between 11am and 1pm Pacific Time. It'll be just like the normal show except instead of a small room it's outside a bar in San Diego.
COMIC-CON! Tune in yo.
(full videos available on the site afterwards)
"Bullshit, such lies" is also one of my most common used phrases when gaming. I think "what the actual fuck" tops that list though...
I believe Seb jizzed himself and I'lllllll.......allow it? Because that level was balls. And Sarah, you got skills woman!
More Sarah & Seb, please.
Don't know about that game but these hosts always make it entertaining.
Cam is underrated too. His Cat Mario and QWOP sessions were brilliant.
I had so much fun watching you guys play. Used to love this game. I remember there were tons of fan made levels around. Some of them were extremely difficult.
For us, it was all about Unreal Tournament and Counterstrike back then so when we saw one of our friends playing this we were like WTF? Indie games hadn't quite caught on yet. :)
Oh man, such a classic.
My mates and i used to sneakily install it onto our school computers. Hours of wasted IT lessons and lunch breaks.
I remember me and my classmates all playing this during programming classes to see who would lose it first, punch the table and get expelled from class for playing games =p
By far the best Random Encounter highlights in a long time, is the full version worth watching or are these highlights fairly comprehensive? Staff rotation on this show is the key to keeping it interesting I think.
@dannyodwyer Sounds great :D
@dannyodwyer danny bro play area 51...plz
@dannyodwyer so what's that like 7pm GMT
@dannyodwyer Tell me what the game is or I'll send hate mail to the feedbacula guys. I know they hate that stuff.
you guys should do hotline Miami or psyconouts for one of you shows. also great job with everything you do.
@theace89 Yup, I seem to have developed a crush on her because of all those cute squeeks and giggles :).
@theace89 she's cute as a button when she's ...in the zone :p
@dark_surge I know I have it on a floppy, but also have it on a CD with like 2000+ levels xD.
@sirrvs I've been playing indie games since the 80's but I get what you're saying ;)
