Rage - Protecting the Wellhead Gameplay Movie
A player beats back a mutant raid.
@ Zephol Yeah, but they could at least have made it look different. In terms of art direction, and graphical style it's a carbon copy of Borderlands. @Death_Masta187 I Know, his aim was all over the place...
Não estou vendo todo aquele grafico da propaganda. Segundo que a AI kamikaze não evolui mesmo será que os caras não estão vendo que vc tem uma arma de fogo na mão!?
I'm sure the graphics are gonna be crap when it comes out. All these gameplay videos can be deceiving.
@ Ransu90 you if you're right! everyone says that rage is a copy of fallout and borderlands but they are inspired by mad max, if we talk of copying uqe fps then all went so far copied to Wolfenstein 3D
RedReckoning, its the turret that glitches through the floor. Of course your going to see that kind of stuff in a unfinished game. This video is almost a year old, and they still have a good amount of time till it comes out to work out glitches like that. There are a couple of other things that go wrong in this demo but they are very insignificant. Over all this game looks fantastic! the animations are crazy! And the game play looks really fun and exciting. The music, I think also sounds great.
@Timmy_Gwar good point. what if rage is doom 4, i mean doom 4 is rumored to be set on earth with a post apocalyptic setting. but believe it or not its been officially confirmed that rage is an entire different game to doom 4, it has been confirmed that Doom 4 is not rage. so get your facts right
@pc44 You mentioned that you wanted Doom 4 to come out. Think about this. What if Rage IS Doom 4. Think about it. Doom is set on mars, what if this is what happened on Earth (or whatever planet this is) at the same time or shortly after? Consider it. Blow your mind with your own imagination every once in awhile people, its easy and consistently amazes, plus its free! Deal with it.
I liked! Put a little more gore, like when he shoots point-blank with his 12 gauge, it should tear them appart!
id Software doesn't work for Bethesda. They work for Zenimax which is the parent company of Bethesda. Besides, Rage has been in development since 2007 which is before the release of Borderlands and Fallout 3. So if you're gonna say every shooter game is a copy of another one, then you may as well say they all copy from Wolfenstein 3D and Doom because they're the games that really started the genre.
@OtherFabbros all i said was im sick of people complaining that rage copied fallout and boarderlands and i wanted people to agree with me not correct me! and i agree with you its their problem that people thin id copied a few games.
@pc44 Of course not! John Carmack and his team works now for the Bethesda, if they says "create a Doom style game set in the post-apocalyptic world" why they don't do it? Second: if the people are so stupid to tink Id software copied, it's their problem. Third: Id Software creates Doom, Wolfstein, Quake, the fathers of shooter, more before Fallout. Fourth: Fallout set in the 2166, in a bombed America, Rage set in the 2036 after the collision with a meteor.
@OtherFabbros i know that what im saying is that people keep on thinking that id software copied fallout and borderlands! every game company has ther own different ideas. so do you think id copied fallout?
@pc44 Wrong, Fallout born in the 1997, it was a rpg game created by Black Isle Studios. Bethesda creates Fallout 3 and New Vegas.
this game is running on a constant 60 frames per second which is excellent! 100 frames per second is realistic 60-90 frames per second is rich 40-50 frames per second is good 30-35 frames per second is cartoonish 20-25 frames per second is cheap 10-15 frames per second is unplayable 1-9 frames per second is just pushing it
if they dont show doom 4 this year! i swear to God i am going to kill everybody in the id software company and put a bullet in my brain!
Not saying its A Bad Game But Me Personally? Ive Got Borderlands And i Love It For Its Sillyness/Unrealness. This Is Looking Like More Realist Version Of That And Thats Not What I Want, From The Voice Over In The E3 Demo It Doesnt Sounds Like Weapons Are Bought, Just Unlocked, Which Is A Shame, Tho I May Be Wrong. Im Going To Watch This Game But my Money Isnt On The Table Just Yet
First off, since when did Fallout or Borderlands invent post apocalyptic worlds. That setting has been used in numerous books and movies. So maybe Fallout is ripping off some novel. Secondly, who cares if a setting has been used before as long as the story, and the stuff that happens are unique. And lastly, this game kind of gives me a Half Life 2 vibe. Not saying its ripping it off just saying it looks like the controlls could be similar.( I would love more simplistic shooters that focus on more, I dont know, shooting? AKA Serious Sam... Hellz yeah.)
I think it's funny how people are saying Borderlands was post-apocalyptic when it was on a totally different planet. Just saying.
@pc44 regardless of when the games were developed, the post-apocalypse game setting is not a new idea, and the 3 differ in a lot of ways.
this acctually looks really promising and i love how the AI does flips and jumps off walls when their coming at you
I'm really liking this. I played both Borderlands and Fallout 3, and really hope this is the awesome culmination of the two. Borderlands needed a story, and Fallout 3 just needed superior graphics. I'm hoping this lives up to the tremendous hype I'm showing towards it.
Now this is a great looking game I can not wait to play this. From ID Software the same people that brought us the Doom series
it angers me because everyone is saying that rage is copying fallout and boarderlands well its not! rage has been in development soon after doom 3 was released in 2004 fallout and boarderlands started to be in development since approximately 2006
Looks pretty decent for being a year out still. Whoever was playing this should be shot though. Couldn't hit the broadside of a barn if they were standing next to it.
