RAGE Easter Eggs Video Feature
Chris Watters shows you the four main id Software Easter Eggs in Rage - Wolfenstein 3D, Quake, Doom, and the id Software Graffiti rooms!
@momarco Depends on your version. Ps3 clocks in close to 8gb mandatory install. Idk the PC version though.
@Nosnitsttam yeah its a shame. Like when Bioshock 1 came out for PC, i would bet that Bio doesnt have a 10 in GS due to technical issues when released. I mean only a 9 wtf
They don't mention the "Quayola Quayons" worth $50, also don't mention you can't find the Quake hidden area if you're there on a mission, you have to come back to find it. The guides (prima) explain this better.
@HLno1 - read the review! the technical bugs at launch made this game virtually unplayable until about 4 days later when proper drivers were released and id created a patch, and even now people are still having issues. so for a game that only got an "8" on 360 and ps3, a 7 is generous considering it was close to broken when it was reviewed. however, they SHOULD revise the review now that most of the kinks have been worked out.
@SickStench, for quake buttons in wasted garage, you should finish the part mission first and go out, when you enter again the buttons just show up
Pyrobolo, vault tec bobble head is in the mayor's office, on his desk, to your right if you are standing in front of it.
Damieonavich1, I didn't find any of the buttons either on the wasted garage level. But I did find the first level's trophy worth $150. Wonder why they would have one and not the other?
has anyone else found the vauilt tec bobble head? I think it's somewhere in Dan's garage. It's worth $150 I think
booooo!! how dare them not put these easter eggs on the pc version. im playing and watching this video and no buttons in the garage level
There is no way anyone could ever find these secrets, I prefer just pressing on the walls to find the secret doors.
This game deserves the score GameInformer gave it(9.0)! Gamespot and IGN are biased reviews tainted by user comments and personal opinio instead of hard-hands-on facts provided by playing the game!
In Subway Town, there is an old lady smoking from a hooka. take a closer look at the hooka for a little surprise :)
I honestly didn't think id software would disappoint in putting a few references to the old school games! Bravo. Just....Bravo!
Screw the rooms, we want the ACTUAL GAMES unlockable for going to all that trouble......seriously though, give us the original Doom & Quake on PSN please ID :-)
oh and crazy joe got a doom3 t-shirt, there is a vault boy bobblehead dool, and there is a halflife 2 reference in subway town. And alot of Halo references, I think the entire ending is a reference to halo2´s ending aswell.
@nyran125 actually I did, since I have a click everywall in id games rule. However the Rage ones where really obvious wasn't it. I saw a quake button on random and figured out I needed to find and press more.
@nyran125 - yes, after you clear an area or if you're there before the quest, you can have the run of the place without opposition in 99% of cases, feels scripted throughout the game, different things. pretty sad. There's definately fun to be had, but with some attention to details, it could've been great. -I play PC day1 no problems, it's just lacking. Carmack said PC is 10x stronger than console so they only had to use a tenth of resources -well, it shows- and no, I don't just mean graphics.
id Graffiti room can be easily found on your own exploring, as I did, I didn't know it was an achievement, I just wandered into it, an achievement popped up and 'oh?- ' and left. The rest you do need help from either the guide which is preferrable, as these videos are way too late for most people to be helpful since you can't go back to most locations in the game (definately not open world). Found the Doom level/Marine Bobblehead with guide, but too late to go back on Ghost hideout, I'll see if I can get into the Wasted Garage.
Too bad you can't go back to find the Wolfenstein secret, once you did the Ghost Hideout mission. Nevertheless, it's fun to find these easter eggs.
