QuakeCon 2011: Rage Interview With Tim Willits
Id Software's creative director, Tim Willits, sits down with Maxwell McGee to answer your Facebook and Twitter questions.
I love long games and i might actually enjoy playing multiplayer for this game cant wait till this comes out
Wow!! Tim seems a very very cool guy! Full of info & very approachable! Nice bloke & Rage is a must buy for me!
I think this will be a great game. People are having concerns about the whole wasteland scenario and how its been done before (personally i had concerns about this as well). But for me it all comes down to the fact that its an ID game. The mach daddys of the FPS genre who always bring something new to FPS games. Hopefully that will be the case with this one however subtle it maybe.
i think thats the same headset i use (in the background)...i cant remember what model it is, i think its turtle beach X11. cheap but does the job
@dragonzw2c yes but this is an FPS, not and RPG...most fps games nowadays are about 6 hours, so this is actually a very good length. and it is not just about the length but also the quality of the experience.
a lot of ppl think 20 hrs is not much ...but its always better to have 20hrs of pure uninterrupted fun then 80hrs of frsutration :P
I love games that gives you more than the average hours of play.....the more the better. One needs to get his/her money worth.
I'm sure Rage will be great, but I can't help thinking it feels alot like Fallout3 with better shooting mechanics.
yea 20hr game is a negative, i thought this game was like fallout/oblivion where you can easily get 80+ hours of gameplay
You really did everything it would be 20 hours? That's not that long my friend. It's fairly long for an FPS, but that's not saying much.
Whoever the camera and sound guy was, he sucks!! Totaly took away from the interview constantly fiddeling with the zoom and sound. Jesus!!!
