Chris Watters shows off some new Project Spark gameplay from SDCC 2013 on the Xbox One.
Did you enjoy this video?
this looks awesome
Fable should have been like this
This looks cool
Windows 8. Nope. Dont even.
Project Spark should have come to ps vita, would be fun with touchscreen to add tertrain and modify the grassy and hard terrain. but since its Xbox good for them but there is no touchpad in xbox1...
People say PS4 killed Xbox One at the show. Then why was Titanfall game of the show????
IMO Xbox One's release titles look far superior to PS4's. I will however be getting both systems at launch. If Uncharted 4 was one of PS4's release titles I'd be hella stoked!
I hate fanboys that bash Xbox One and PS4. Both systems look amazing! Just because you can't afford both like me doesn't mean you gotta hate lol
I wish they would have shown new gameplay but man this game looks fun.
Hurry up and give us a release date, I can't wait to start creating.
I can't stop looking at his shirt...
None of that footage was new. Nor did they talk about anything we do not already know.
Isn't this game like Minecraft ... where you can build your own worlds ?
The only thing I didn't see in there is a fighting game
I'm curious to see how they handle micro-transactions... I'm not buying an XB1, but I'd play this on PC.
i preordered a ps4 and this is the one thing i kinda wish i was getting an xbox one for. Hopefully sony comes out with something to match it.
This looks great can't wait to start creating stuff
Wow, this sounds really cool. From the announcement of this "game", and upon noticing that it is releasing on Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Windows 8, I immediately wondered if that meant we would be able to share our creations cross-platform. It is good to finally get a definitive answer that yes, we will. That is a huge selling point for me. Also, the ability to let someone else tweak your creations is fantastic. I am really looking forward to this one.
man this game looks amazin and fun very cool just to bad its on xbone ):
It's like Little Big Planet, but total 3d (if you so choose) and a lot more creative freedom... I'm intrigued... Free you say?
I have a strong feeling I will spend hundreds of hours on this one.
Oh, and it's free to play!
Now that's cool!
This is genuinely what I suggest the Wii, that's the Wii and not the Wii U, should have had before it was even properly revealed (when it was still called Revolution and we hadn't even seen the physical console yet). I even thought it should come built into the console out-the-box so that every single Wii owner could access and use it from day one and share all their creations across the world.
I'm not kidding.
That's how far ahead of the game I was.
The problem with what I've seen of this game so far is that it's not clear how much choice you actually have to make what you want specifically. I mean they show a radial menu where you can choose between a couple of fantasy characters, like a troll, but how do you choose anything else and how big is the selection...?
Is the scope genuinely huge, so I can create whatever I want, or is it just a case of having a large set of option within that specific fantasy world and you can't really go outside of that general idea much, regardless of whether you can change the overall shape of the levels and the basic gameplay etc...?
Could I make a sci-fi space shooter where the player can fly ships then get out and walk around a sci-fi base on foot shooting aliens in first person for example...?
Could I make a Super Mario style 2D platform game, maybe in 2.5D, with the same jumping feel and gamplay, bouncing on enemies heads and wearing Tanooki suits the let me fly around temporarily, as another example?
I mean it seems you can create almost anything in any style from that video but HOW?
They need to make this kind of stuff much more transparent so I can actually get an idea of how this game works properly.
very creative. well done
@rIVAL_sWORD84 tablet and smart glass
@Jysoe Game of the show has to be "playable" so a lot of the other games didn't qualify. Epic Battle Cry had a video on it not too long ago. I'd personally pick MGS V, FF XV, The Division, and Destiny over Titanfall, but that's just me...
@Jysoe Both systems are unremarkable, and equally unimpressive so far..., pls, who you kidding... mommy and daddy are paying for your stuff and you know it ; p
@atif_ahmed33 Minecraft + LBP = Spark. This sounds exciting!
@M3o5nster He said "perhaps more themes that we haven't revealed now..." I think this was a bit of a slip. I reckon that the transactions will probably different objects and skins.
@erking1991 That would just be biting
There is a pc version :)
@erking1991 Well, it's pretty much M$'s answer to Little Big Planet. I wouldn't be surprised if LBP3 comes with something amazing.
@llsinister84ll You must feel really smart for using a lame nick name for an inanimate object that has nothing to do with the label you gave it. "XBONE" really? -_-
If you bothered to pay attention to the interview, you would have noticed that it will also be released on Xbox 360 and Windows 8. There really is no need for that "Xbone" negativism. This is a toolset designed by Team Dakota, a Microsoft first-party studio. It stands to reason that it would be available on Xbox One as well.
@Urizen316 knowing ms like we all do, youll only get a portion of the game for free, the rest will be pay to use. i can see a few tools at your disposal without paying
@BrandonNocaute if i can spend a thousand hours on minecraft i can spend years on this ha
@amaneuvering it might be like garrys mod where you can download other peoples creations for that category from a creation kit they give you.
@strothers101 I noticed that too, but you beat me with the speed of the comment, sir. Here, have my like
@SauhlGood @Jysoe yea 1.7 million preorders for ps4 and close behind is xbox , very unremarkable
@jombazy no doubt the best version
I've seen you on like 10 Xbox posts bashing it. Why aren't you on Sonys page praising the PS4? You must have a lot of time on your hands bro.
Halos forge mode came out in 2007. LBP is Sonys answer to Forge.
@ceile6 @M3o5nster @biggnol908 no we cant hear the gasp, but we do in our heads, you know
@M3o5nster @biggnol908 You know we cant hear you really gasp right?, anyway anyone who makes an account for a game news website has no life. But dont worry, we will have no life along with you =].
@biggnol908 I comment on PS4 articles, PC articles, and yes, *GASP* even Xbox articles... Just like a bunch of other people on Gamespot. Takes me only a minute or two to make a few comments, but I can't speak towards your typing skills.
Did you really just try to relate Halo to Little Big Planet?
