Am I the only one who thinks that both 2012 football games look really good? Judging by the comments on this video, everyone else is a fanboy who thinks that if you like one, you have to hate the other. Maybe try playing them both with an open mind, rather than immediately dismissing one as 'dead' or 'for people who don't get football' just on the basis of a short trailer.
@bujanina oh yeah did you se the fat guy that presented player impact egine? I bet hes a football addict!
OMG! Just look at the producer! These guys never played football in their life! The real football must be done by the europeans who really love this game and try not just to make money on it, but to create an enjoyable game!
I don't know why some people is too complicated talking about what game is better, if is better PES or FIFA, just enjoy games, each one was made for different likes.
My friend bought FIFA 10 and 11 dude, we played FIFA 11 with a group of people and everyone preferred PES to FIFA. I haven't seen anything that makes FIFA any more enjoyable than before to be honest.
FIFA is so good that's it's the only game I've ever played I never want to touch again. I have never hated a football game as much as FIFA 09. PES isn't perfect but at least it's fun.
I think this is the last chance im going to give konami with the PES series, Ive been playing since pes 2 on the ps2 and always look forward to the game each year. If they dont get it right this year thats it for me. The thing that annoys me is that they release a game, lets say pes 2008, let everyone spend there money on it. Then 7-8 months later come out and say they aren't happy with the game and that they new all the way through development that the game didn't feel right.
I think PES should call it a day for like 2 years. Change the name, change the main designer in Konami and change the graphics. Then they should team up with 2k (because in their respective sporting games they are dominant and realistic). In these two years of the new partnership with 2k they should create a new graphics engine, rejuvenate the ball movement system, get hundreds of customizable features for a (MY PLAYER) mode and get the licences to use the teams real badges and real kits. AND STOP THE FOOLISH MUSIC!! Everyone is right PES 2011 was shocking but at the same time Fifa 11 is poor (within reason). If PES had the graphics of Fifa and the licences of Fifa and got rid of the foolish music, then they'd be getting somewhere. All in All, we need a different proper football game. One that's not Fifa or Pro Evo. Which takes the communities voice into account and comes out with a PROPER game!
I don't care what whoever says. because anybody who knows football, i mean SOCCER, real soccer, will not dare to compare PES 2011 and FIFA 11. FIFA 11 is by far a representation of what football is. i am a soccer player myself so i know what i am saying. However, i had been a PES fan on the ps2 and seeing them being sidelined in the face of FIFA really felt bad. I hope this time it comes out great. And please konami, give us real kits with real names!!!
Why you say that FIFA is good? Or the PES 11 is good? Neither of these two is now unable to solve our needs FIFA 11 on arbitration and automatic steering have problem and order controller not doing well PES 11have problem in The gameplay and moving ball too. Until now, none is better than another because none of them are not working well So we must still wait to will arrive one football game who that has fully completion in all parts of game and with none little problem yes this is who must to be so please do not say this one is better than another
Lol, some people on here are quite hilarious. Pes 2011 is so much better than fifa 11. Fifa 11 is a shambles of a football game, players run around at 100 mph and it's just a pinball game. Any serious football fanatic knows it's the game of choice, after seeing some fifa 12 pics , konami don't need to concern themselves. By the way we all know why fifa get's all the high reviews in the mags don't we easports.
PES is falling beind once again! Trying to do things FIFA already does. Its a shame really. Such a good game a few years back......
@Sakuban I play football twice a week, but I prefer Fifa. The look and feel of PES is too robotic for me, the movements of the players don't reflect the natural motions of the game, nor do the ball physics, and action/reaction of fellow players. Theres not true fluidity to PES, it feels like a string of mechanic actions, rather than the influence of organic play. Whereas in Fifa a drop of a shoulder, a smart flick, a pin-point through ball, an individual piece of skill, or a perfectly timed piece of trickery can totally open up the game/get you a goal, as is the case of real football. The same can be said of PES, but the fact is I'd rather play a game that echoes actual organic football, rather than roboticised chess pieces.
Everyone, who ever played football in real life knows pes owns fifa. Fifa can only be a child's look at this sport. It's nothing but a button smasher, every position and goal looks and feels same in fifa. Pes is more versatile.
Fifa is more about the realism and the actual feel of football, which is reflected in; player modelling and movements, pitch modelling, atmosphere, ball physics, etc. PES is more about the raw tactics, which is reflected in; fine tuning runs, positioning, formations, etc. They're both good games, but it depends on which type of game you prefer and which is more appealing to your personality: organic: realism, passion, expression robotic: logic, efficiency, rigidity Both games focus on these areas, just with more bias towards one or the other.
I'm in no way bashing the series as its my favourite football game series, but the really small changes they make each year really make no major differences. I still play 09, thats fine for me.
