These comparisons with Sam Fisher and Deus Ex are off the mark. None of these choir boys can hold a candle to 47's pragmatic non-nonsense style. :D
This is actually the first Hitman game I'm really excited about. The other games, imo, were decent, but this seems like a triple-A game. Looks like they really turned the series around and I can't wait to test drive it. Looks like they took a bit of Splinter Cell and stuck it in there. The old games were so antiquated in gameplay, graphics, AI and play-style. Now Hitman seems like a breath of fresh air. Can't wait!
So...does Hitman look like DXHR or does DXHR look like Hitman? The cover mechanics look very similar...
There are so many good games coming out this year. From this one to AC III. I hope that ACIII they don't ruin the game by doing a modern day approach thing .. I cant wait for this summer probably July when this game is out.
I have a bad feeling about this game. I'm a big fan of this series, but I worry they're taking the wrong approach. I hope they didn't drift too far away from the original gameplay. I like the new cinematic feel, but I don't want this to turn into a linear sneak/shoot game. Those games are good (like Mafia 2), but they're not Hitman.
@nima_metal90 I'm sure that's just a set piece...maybe there'll be more, maybe that's the only one...who knows...just hope for the best
When I saw heli shooting at 47 I got a little bit worried that maybe they forgot the mission styles in blood money or old ones, I mean the freedom of choice that u use to done the mission, goin silently or just shot every1 in head.
This is going to be a mental game when we get it,thats a point we know it's coming out later sometime this year but give us a date already ;-)
there's a word i'm bringing back from the 60's - 70's to describe this game >" RUSH "> would be the feeling I get from this trailer ...
@WhiteScorpian completely agreed, it's time for game companies to snap out of this linear script based gaming trend we have been enduring for years. It was fun for a while, but snap out of it please. Skyrim has proven that people really want open ended games.
I hope they let us keep the freedom of killing. I always liked choosing how I got to a target, whether its taking a suit of a worker or just head hunting. I want them to keep the wolf in sheep's clothing feel. From what ive seen so far it seems linear and focused on sneaking.
