People who dislike a product don't have to make it a miserable experience for everyone else. You are not 'winning' by any means. Buy another product instead that suits your interest.
You guys really lost it.
Im' so sad my boyfriend bought me the Vita.
shitty games!!! - ask from Naughty Dog for another Uncharted games - it's the only good thing.. or Sqauer Enix for a Kingdom Hearts title like the PSPs
I wish it would heart consumers. It's becoming a $250 mobile indie console. I'd rather take 5 AAA games than 50 8-bit games.
Its good to see sony begin to put love on the vita. i need indie games while waiting for AAA titles.
Are people really spinning this awesome indie lineup as a bad thing? Any excuse to hate on the Vita, right? Absurd.
Oh and lol at people comparing those to iphone games. Good luck getting even 10% of those games to play well on iphone without buttons.
You complain that big console style games aren't meant for handhelds. Then when the Vita delivers a fantastic indie lineup and tons of smaller reasonably priced games perfectly suited to handhelds and smaller play sessions you say those aren't "real" games. There is no pleasing you. Just admit it. You're going to hate on the Vita no matter what it does.
All available on your iPhone for a fraction of the cost...
What a scam, re-market mobile games, call them indie and have the Sony fanboys drooling. Yes, I own a Vita, and I'm not excited about this.
the only way i'll buy a vita is if they
#1 Lower the price to $199 or
#2 sell it together as a bundle with the PS4 if they do that then im all hands otherwise i dont wanna spend $249 on it because its the same price as a PS3 right now with a game
WTF who's the moderator here? Why does a simple youtube link to the song in the trailer get deleted?
so far i have 17 cartridge games and 31 PSN games . . and i dont understand the "vita lack of games" thing. .
@burgeg Most are old ports, and do not justify the price of the console
@burgeg loving mine, bought the First Edition Bundle and have never regretted it. I've been playing Sly Cooper using my Vita for the AR Treasure finder, It's awesome. Honestly I don't see how anyone could find all those hidden items without it. Can't wait to see how the Cross Controller functions will be utilized in PS4 games.
@burgeg @Soleride Vita is a great device, i'll be glued to Persona 4 soon enough, playing through fire emblem on the 3DS at the moment, but Stardust Delta is a great distraction when i get bored xD, can't wait to see what they announce for the vita at gamescom.
Personally traded in my 360 + games for a Vita & a pre-owned 3DS because it was collecting dust and I don't regret it, except for the memory card prices but at least it has a great content manager app from Sony's website, makes it bearable at least with the standard 4GB card.
@burgeg Vita is awesome i love mine! i play it more than my Xbox 360 now which is a rare thing for me.
@Christopher Miller Do you own a Vita? There a tons of great Vita games. There's only one quality shooter right now (Unit 13), but if you have plus you have access to plenty of great games that are also free. The Vita does need more dev's to jump on board and make games, I grant you that.
@XNEXUS666X Well, I don't agree. The PS VITA is a much more capable gaming machine than most phones, including iPhone. And, with the biggest problem with PS VITA being limited availability of titles, this indie focus and PS4 cross play solve that issue.
I agree. Either Sony lowers the price or bring in more games for the platform. I cannot justify purchasing the console at its current price with its pitiful library.
@kool_zed_speaks That's illegal bro. You're not allowed to do that or you can get sued to the point where your pants come off. Never do that again bro just saying
What is your favorite Vita games?
I just bought a Vita and I have LBP and Liberation, which was included in the bundle, and bought Stranger's Wrath on PSN. Honestly I'm kinda disappointed in Liberation, the Lady suit is just annoying and the sounds are terrible, but LBP is the best of the series in my opinion.
The games aren't free if you pay for plus. The only reason to pay for plus is the games. People need to stop calling the games on plus FREE games. They aren't free. They are paid for by your plus subscription. Still a good value but not free.
@epicgameresearc @XNEXUS666X I understand this, I just think the device is underutilized and misunderstood by developers. I haven't seen many games that suit mobile gaming and make use of all it features properly. Obviously I have my preferences, but I'd expect a machine like that to deliver better games than what I can get on a phone. Unit 13 was a good example for a shooter, I'd like to see more 3rd person and stealth games, I'm not gonna wanna be shaking the sticks wildly or using the gyro and touch screen like a dork in public. Touch screen is perfect for menu commands, but I don't wanna be waving my Vita around while on the train etc.
Ghost Recon, Splinter Cell etc, perfect paced games for a handheld imo. Especially since the analog nubs aren't that good.
@NaturalDisplay @Monsta1217 i agree but the indie titles are very fun imho i cant even lie i've played a friends Vita and the indie games fit so well, but in all honesty i dont see a price drop happening until next year or after the PS4 drops better yet i stilll think they should make a VITA/PS4 bundle
@spectreSE7EN umm you pay 50 bucks for getting 20-60 dollar games every week or two so I think it pays itself off pretty quickly if you were planning to buy any of those games that year
@epicgameresearc @XNEXUS666X I just got an Ouya, it's great if you like emulation, I can play any game made for the GBA, PS1, N64, Neo Geo, and others but the games that are native to the system are very limited. Just saying. I wound up stuffing it full of ROM's and gave it to my granddaughters. The love it
@XNEXUS666X@epicgameresearcPersonally I won't play touchscreen Android games. I hate blocking a screen with fingers. But, I do like some Android games (even looked at an OUYA earlier today!). If these PS VITA indies utilize gamepads, I'm all for it. Personally, I see this indie play by Sony as an opening up PS VITA to more content relatively quickly... some of it quite good. My only issue is pricing. I'd pay 10 bucks for an indie. Would I pay $14.99 for THE SWAPPER? Maybe.
If that does happen you might as well kiss that $399 price tag goodbye and say hello to the $599 price tag..
@epicgameresearc I just dont get it.... Why would you want to play Vita on a TV.... Its a Portable Device for Christ sake.
Wanna play on living room??, Buy a home console, not a handheld gaming device!!!!!
@Monsta1217 @epicgameresearc @NaturalDisplay That I agree with. Sony needs to either make cheaper cards or open up to 3rd party SD.
I've held off buying a VITA -- not because lack of games (there are some great games IMHO) -- because I want Sony to first release an HDMI attachment for TV play. It exists, but Sony refuses to release it.
