"Legends Arcana is an action-rpg of near endless replay-ability.
Legends Arcana is a single player action RPG like Diablo but not as dark. Explore ruins, dungeons, caves, tombs, and temples looking for gold and dodging traps while fighting your way through waves of monsters. Gameplay is fast and streamlined but tactical with 24 skills you can learn and improve. The story is epic and told through comic cut scenes." - from googleplay
One really noteworthy one I would also mention is "Legends Arcana" by little killerz... this is wonderful little action rpg also very similar to Diablo with cartoonish graphics.
This is available on android and is about 3 dollars US.
Awesome...some good alternatives. And thanks a lot...for adding even more games to my already back logged gaming list. ;P
Was Diablo really the first type of RPG where you hack and slash from a fixed camera view? Or did it just perfect it?
why, gamespot? why the hell do i have to watch the same AC trailer over and over and pover again? i'm logged in to your site, you know that i've already seen it. why do you keep showing me it every single time i start a video on here???
where da hell did yo blond hair go ?????!!!!!!!!!
now you look..... :( human....i guess i can deal with that
it's good to know that gamespot employees actually read and reply comments in their comment sections of videos. seems rare in these days!
For RPG fans, most of gamevil games are fun, mage gaunlet, inotia series, and a good dungeon crawler try pocket rpg, If i remember correctly the lvling system is weird, but weird in a fun way.
I really like personality, voice inflection, and excitement. Thanks a lot Jessica McDonell! You represent the AU well.
All the Zenonia games are really good with the hack and slash. Although the anime style might gets its critic.
another ignorant gamespot employee, TORCHLIGHT is made by people who made original Diablo, Diablo 3 is a Diablo rip-off made by Blizzard Entertainment for maximum profitts, a company that had very little (if anything) to do with Diablo, D2 an LODs development
whats with the utterly ignorant, rude, derogatory and ass-lick articles on gamespot lately ?
These games are for mobile phones? If so, I just gotta take a Xperia Play right now. These games looks great!
@tempertress excellent show with excellent recommendations !
- i have Dungeon Hunter 2 and is EPIC for the mobile category !
if you cant play diablo 3..there is an alternative, Torchlight 2 and pathofexile and titans quest, list goes on or simply just play diablo 2 again it still fun even today.
Dungeon Hunter 1 and 2, very good diablo 3 clones. Dungeon Hunter 3? A Arena based hack'n'slash filled with real money transactions.
I was under the impression that Pocket RPG was supposed to be similar to Diablo. I haven't played it, but I heard it's good. Can anyone confirm for me?
Meh .. Dungeon Hunter isn't a very good game ...I wouldn't recommend it , but if you are desperate and can't play Diablo III I guess anything goes ...
@speedsimmons suck it up.
@juggernaut5 I was never blonde, the filter makes my hair look darker but I'm a brunette.
@wizardboyus Yep! If you guys can put aside a few minutes to watch my videos and comment the least I can do is reply to you =]
@Talavaj Wait, what? Blizzard owns the franchise.. The games were developed by Blizzard North, a division of Blizzard Entertainment.
What the hell are you talking about?
The fact that specific employees left the company doesn't make it "not a Blizzard game".. And they did develop them, because it was a division of Blizzard that did. It's their franchise.
I never even cared much for the Diablo franchise, but talk about being a douche.
You're the rude, and derogatory, ignorant here..
@Talavaj You mean like yours in response...ass licking Torchlight... degrading and rude to Gamespot for the butthurt you feel....when it really doesn't matter, as most just love both or all such styled games?
@Talavaj Wait, who's rude and derogatory? Seems to be you.
@Talavaj I know that, thanks. I didn't say it wasn't made by the people who made Diablo.
@7C7R7N7 I always wanted that phone!
@diabolik_023 Thanks! Yeah, it's pretty decent.
@shinspikes No worries =]
@mystic_knight I don't consider this video "hard work," rather than something being watched due to Diablo III's release. This list of titles isn't very comprehensive.
@NeonNinja Pocket RPG was an extremely streamlined rpg hack'n'slash that didnt let you keep loot or levels between stages. Only thing you kept was the skills/abilities you purchased. Weapons bought off vendors, exp, levels were all wiped between each stage.
Good game, good graphics, good controls, poorly implemented.
@LinkStormrage but at least they don't keep poor people from using the RMAH
@HootHootJared66 Your so creepy.
just because you see a good looking girl on a video doesnt mean you have to announce it to every one. you should go outside more there's plenty of hot girls
@thunderboltx7 Thats one of the many works she does. Working hard as usual indicates more on her general workload than this segment alone
@DeViLzzz You can still shop with in game currency from AH...
So its better for poor people?
