Piracy - Crusader Kings II 7 Deadly Sins Trailer
The final live-action trailer for grand strategy game Crusader Kings II is an accurate reenactment of an internal piracy discussion at Paradox.
that was fun . could be a nominee for trailer of the year . though not to mention many pirated copies were sold .
This is just horrible. Arguments for or against piracy aside, this video just shows how out of touch paradox is with gamers and gaming culture. Hire some PR consultants for crying out loud!! The game industry seems to love making an ass of itself.
How is this a trailer of the game? This is just a poor debate insert, it has nothing to do with the game. Also, not all games have multi-player, or even satisfying multi-player. And DLC is hardly an argument to buy the game. Both DLC and updates are cracked for many games. Anyway, I buy a game when I like it and I have the money to buy it. I don't see why the poor should be bereft of an important part of culture.
They are complaining about piracy of their game and then in the same video promote DLC, the ultimate way for game developers to rip us off? Cool.
That's because most of you are spoiled kids who always could afford any video game you ever wanted in your life. Don't for even a second feel like a good person because you play video games "legitimately". These major video game developers have more than enough money, so please, tell me how legitimate you are while being ripped right in front of you. Still in denial? Oh Lord... pitiful...
@hedgy1 and @Grovilis well there will always be some idiots but most people i know has bought witcher 2 because it is a great game, there will always be few people that download it if its great but more if the game sucks
@grovilis: I know what you mean, man. Just last week I saw some guy pirating Bastion and I totally threw up all over him.
7 sines watched them all, but this one is LAME! developers whine to much about piracy, if they make a great game everyone will buy it...
I honestly feel like puking whenever I see a PC developer get pirated. Hopefully they do well in sales.
@Tonitendo Though I kinda agree that this isn't really much of a trailer and can seem like a "ripoff", I would still much rather be a "spoiled kid" than a Fucking Leech.
