Operation Kingfish Trailer
Check out this live action Call of Duty fan-made trailer: Operation Kingfish
they were so embarrass with how crappy the real game graphic is. they have to make a video using real people. hahahahah FAILED.
since when you can shut down an air craft with a RPG, it doesn't effective in long distance even on the ground!!that was BS for real!!!what they were thinking!they even didn't pay enough money to make a reasonable trailer!that was suck! i'm not waiting for this any way.
These "fans" got a lot of money, skill and time..... ... and flares don't work on rpg7. It's not a heatseeker.. But anyway it looks badass for amatures... if that's who they are...
I'm not sure what people mean by "fan made" trailer but if a bunch of regular guys made this piece, then it's bloody amazing!! But to me it definitely looks like it's made by a bunch of amateur film makers, AT LEAST. Fan made trailers are usually a stitch-up of old footage edited together and it generally ends up looking incohesive and silly. This is something waaaayyyy above that. Almost looks like it's made or atleast funded by Activision. If it's not, then to whoever made this, you are effing talented to put something like this together just for the sake of it!! Don't let any of these retards tell you otherwise. Seriously people, I can't believe everyone is dissing this as crap. What, do you expect the graphics to be done by ILM or WETA? I didn't know know gamespot was frequented by such a bunch of pretentious douche bags.
Looks a bit cheap.. this guys spouse 2 look tough? ehheh my peanut butter sandwich its much meaner. What are the graphics look like? cause Dmovie its sh8..
Good short film but my word are the Americans terrible at British accents. Price sounds like a cross between 'Dick Van Dyke in Mary Poppins' and 'Mick Dundee'. Soap was as about convincing as Willie from the Simpsons. Actually its not just the Americans, old Russel Crow's English accent in Robin Hood was shocking.

I don't care much for Call of Duty, but that was really impressive for a fan made video. Great job these guys did. The production quality reminded me of those fan made Half-life 2 videos.. i can't remember the name but it was about the resistance fighters in City 17.
@Dalua360 - Actually if you look carefully you will notice that all the ads on the site are pointing to other games. Resistance 3, Gunstringer, World of Warcraft, also Turtle Beach, and Showtime's Homeland.
@Neil_Clancy That's what I'm thinking. It might b made by fans but probably at least paid for by activision.
A neat fan video but too bad it's not representative of a game. Still, it's up there with all the other live action stuff. Halo, that Killzone one, the fan made/parody fallout video about nuka cola. I'm going to embarass myself and nerd out though and suggest that AC-130's actually don't fly that low to be threatened by RPGS.
OH look, MW3 is everywhere here on Gamespot. Activision must have bought this website! And even after that HUGE amount of money spent on marketing, BF3 will be the best game! Pathetic ! @Neil_Clancy Do you have any doubts this is Activision's work? Where else would we find ridiculous things like someone getting shot by a .50BMG and nothing happens to the body, or heat-guided RPGs, or Snipers showing their signature on top of the hill?LOL Well, at least this time, they remembered to put bullets inside the magazines, because on MW3 not even that they have! Haven't anybody noticed that Gamespot has ONLY MW3 articles ???
An RPG took out an AC-130? Yea, right... Still, very high production values. Are we sure this is really fan-made? Maybe Activision bankrolled it.
Fantastic production values for a fan movie. I've seen Seagal movies with lower production values than these. That said, there's some terrible things as well. The mohawk dude was poorly cast. He doesn't have the trained physique of a spec operative. He's too heavy and moves like a sack of potatoes. The way that building was cleared they wouldn't have made it halfway through that first hallway. And yeah what others have said already, that RPG taking out the AC130 was pretty rediculous. Still I'm impressed with some of the stunts and special effects. Well done!
Pretty awesome video to be fair (Except for Price's ever-changing accent). @XboxGuy1537 Dude couldn't agree more, seems like it's COD or nothing today!
Cheesy, bad accents, silly unrealistic moments (it is meant to be COD I guess)....BUT awesome effects and filming, one of the best!
Not to mention how their whole squad survived a C4 blast which was directly beside them..this is worse then a half baked Steven Seagal movie.
lol..why would the Russians running up to the dude at the end who refused to get on the helicopter and try and get in a 10 foot radius before shooting an AK-47 or whichever variant they had which has a hell of a longer firing radius then 10 feet...and an unguided RPG hitting an AC-130 from that range? God I can't wait when this stupid COD convention is over, Gamespot has turned into a temporary household for trash.
great video, freddie should learn from this. (freddi is an asian guy that make similar videos like this in youtube, but this is way better)
Well, for a fan film it was pretty cool. I did kinda scratch my head at the RPG shooting down a C130. I don't want to say impossible but I would go so far as to say improbable.
Talking about the difference between COD and BF last night with mates. This just supports our opinion that COD has turned into just guns and explosions to entertain those with a maturity level of a 12 year old, BF actually provides some reality and longevity to its multilayer, beyond pointless leveling.
