Operation Flashpoint: Red River Demo
Enjoy the beautiful landscapes and the realistic physics of the bullets and air strikes in this demo of Operation Flashpoint: Red River.
I don't know why realistic has to translate to completely visually uninteresting haha. People say a lot of the uninteresting impression comes from this game being "realistic" but he barely flinched when shot, and he literally holds the package of bandages right in front of him as he's "patching his wounds". Also, the weight of a weapon affects how fast your arms move, not your head. If they want to simulate that they should let you turn as fast as you want and alter the speed at which the weapon catches up.
Looks like the same dissapointing crap as Dragon Rising. These guys at Codemasters need to play ARMA II to understand what a realistic war game is. Battlefield 3 looks much better.
Join my rooms on DR and when this comes out. I've got a good connection so no laggy servers. Sion (your last comment on your video) you're welcome in, but I reckon you're a better games designer than player.
@Naraic100 My guess is he isn't taking it to seriously and is trying to show off the graphics and lighting effects, Plus the fact this isn't going to be a CoD run around full speed with dual saw-off shotguns type game.
Why do people still whine that the modern OF games are nothing like the original ? If you knew your games you would know CM kept the name but ARMA carried on the franchise under a new name. Check the hud/menu's etc of the original OF and ArmA 1 theyre very similar as is gameplay, just ArmA is updated
Oh and @andireitzer the reason you can't see the video is beacuse you need to grow a few years. Come back when you're 18.
I know this is meant to be a more cautious and realistic game than CoD, but really? Do you have to take it that slow or is the guy playing just crap?

There no pretense of "Tools" like last time,or stand alone severs. So expect Pay to Play Map Packs & Campains to be the order of the day.
this is just call of duty but with the name "operation flashpoint" next to it, this is pathetic compared to cold war crisis/redhammer/resistance.
getting tired of the homefront ads...... looks good, but why buy this with battlefield BC3 , homefront *waits for review*
I'm going to get Homefront first. Then the summer I'll get killzone 3, this when it drops in price, yakuza 4 maybe,
@EasyToTalkToIty You probably disagree with me but I mean it only contains 8 missions and a few co-op modes and none of my friends are getting it so ill pass.
Despite it's obvious flaws I really enjoyed Dragon Rising. TBH, this looks a lot worse, in terms of both gameplay and visuals.
it doesn't look very intense but anyway this is not just some COD so I don't mind. can't wait to play.
this game is the real deal,if you know what the word war is and the fact that you will play the campaign with 3 trusty friends it just amazing,i liked dragon rising a loootttt best warfare game full stop and red river it will top up that experience.
@lordofallpies, If by content you mean lots of DLCs with rehashed playground maps a la COD, then yes.
this does not look that good, I've seen other videos where this game looks good but I don't know now I might still check this one out.
