Looks half way decent but just off the trailer they changed the dialog from Anime. Some of the names some of the things said and the fact that its made by Tecmo Koei Games which are not know for improvements on there game series.

I`ve never watched the One Piece anime series, seems kinda stupid compared to Naruto ... cmon Ninjas over Pirates/Sailors any day man :D

i saw the same intro as in dynasty warriors, and my hopes were high. And now they're even higher, considering how complete it looks. I would buy a PS3 for this game alone, and im an avid pc gamer, and you know how pc gamers feel about consoles.

What about showing us the American voices for the game? i like English dubbed games/anime much better thank you. That said it looks fairly interesting, so i'm hoping fora PSN demo

@ranjangamefreak What r u talking about? Ninjas are overated and r done to death in many other animes. U don't know what you are talking about. Don't judge a show before you watch it.

@ranjangamefreak normally I would agree with that statement, ninjas definitly kick ass.  But One Piece isnt just pirates, that would be lame.

@thekazumalord There are a few animes that I very much enjoy hearing the English dubs.  But believe me when I tell you, the American voice acting for this show is... well... in a word - obnoxious.  At least for the main character it is and he's the best character.  The only one who I can tolerate for more than a minute at a time is Zoro who is voiced by Chris Sabat.  He does Piccolo from DBZ and its basically the same voice.  The performances by the other American actors who do the rest of the heroic characters are just really bland.  Stick with the Japanese.  The cast they have is absolutely amazing.

@push88 No way, the English cast for this show is perfect, Funimation has done a great ob picking out English voice cast. Although  i do think the first 4Kids opening theme song was better then the one they chose. English voice acting is the only way to watch anime.

@Briantb_2008  @thekazumalord  @push88  i agree the English dub of One Piece was crap. bu i did like the first opening song for the $Kids TV version.. that was a better song then the Funimation one. But i still like most English dubs of anime better.  4Kids Tv just turned all anime it touch to shit, cant blame that on anyone else

I have to go with push88 on this the English dub Anime of this was not that great. Much better in Japanse. Even if I have to read the subtitles.

@Minasodrom  @thekazumalord  @push88 I've tried watching anime in Japanese, i can't stand it. I will never watch anime that isn't English dubbed anymore. Thanks to that i have at least another year or so of Bleach anime, that airs on the  Toonami block on Cartoon network, unlike the ones who watch the subtitled stuff. That's just one of the perks..same goes for Naruto Shippuden and Deadman Wonderland. i'll have plenty of those three anime for some time, especially the first two..  so, advantage, English dubbed.

@thekazumalord @push88 good is pretty relative. the translations are good but once i had to watch in japanese because there were no more english episodes i never could go back! the series loses a lot of atmosphere plus the japanese humor sounds pretty stupid translated. but i understand that your to lazy to read. had the same issue in the beginning. u get used to it after 2 episodes and then you dont even remember witch language you were watching.

@Minasodrom  @thekazumalord  @push88 I've only heard a handful of anime that didn't sound good in English. 99% of anime i've heard in English is great. Besides, i don't speak Japanese and reading subtitles on screen breaks the flow of the story, English voices is the ONLY way i'd watch anime

@thekazumalord @push88 english dubbed anime sounds really shitty if you heard the comparison for a while! believe me its much better
