I wish they would make a sequel to "Mob Rule." Any remember that game? It was a cartoon type mob game but was so much fun. That would be awesome!
But this looks promising. As long as they dont pull that crap like in Gangsters 2 where you had to start from scratch after each mission. What the hell was the point of doing all that work and building up your business only the have to do it all over again on the next mission. That was some BS!
I've already pre-ordered it from ozgameshop.com
They better have based it on Gangsters Organised Crime. I never got into Gangsters 2, because of the lack of freedom. If gangsters 2 was made with the same freedom 1 had it would have been so much better.
Pleas Don't mess this one up. I have been waiting for this game ever since i played Gangsters2 in 2001. Is there any way i can post my ideas for this game?
@Blakeney Just read your comment hell ya that game was fun as hell. The 2nd one was good to I miss strat games like that.
Does anyone remember that game Gangsters the strategy game? Man I loved that game, wish someone would remake that.
I just hope that the rise to the top isn't easy. I want to work really hard to set up my first illegal business, work hard to find the perfect manager for it. I don't want mobsters to be readily avaiable. Gotta develop trust and experience among a select few. I want to really feel the pain of losing a member of the gang. I want a lot of slow, build up time, not build up to go straight to war with the other gang. Build an empire, the city is big, but sometimes, interests clash and there needs to be some kind of resolution. I want individuals to be a thorn in the back side, and murder to be taken seriously. If this game becomes an arcade game, you can count me out
bah i see people say mafia 2 i say crap and you need to read up on the mob not that crap thats put out to be a dog and this point i say MAFIA 2 was utter crap i would pay to see a real mob game or a game based on AL-Capone
@blakeney whenever I watched this video I went and pulled out my copy :P still isn't too bad! excited to see this one
It actually remind me a bit of Gangland, if any of you remember those 2 games they made, gangland, and gangland 2.
I love turn based tactical games, but I'm slightly worried. Kalypso recently released JA: Back in Action, and it's not really good (I bought it). They'll probably try to use the same engine. Let's hope they solve a LOT of problems before they release this Mafia game.
@kshatriyasumeet - you are judging a game that you haven't even played. that's just ignorance. sorry.... anyways, it looks interesting, I'll follow it.
@RONNYfromOZ If you are unsure about this why not wait for a demo before buying it? Sorry to ask, but it's just something a lot of people seem to do and I'm not sure I get it :)
