New Releases: July 14th - 20th
Shin Megami Tensei IV, Time and Eternity, Shantae, Dynasty Warriors 8, and The Serious Sam Collection.
Interesting, a week where I find most of the games coming out to be interesting and/or something I want is when many just scoff at it and move along, and during those weeks where I find the list of games to be completely boring or unspecial is when I see the most drooling occurring.
SMT 4 is the only thing I'm looking forward to. Luckily it should be more than enough to keep my occupied for awhile.
Summer, loads of steam sales but not much in terms of new releases. Roll on September and the holiday period!
yet another game i want for the 3DS, that i can't because of f***ing region lock.
goddamn, i hate this.
Again nothing worthwhile on PC. :|
Can't wait for the 25th so I can get my hands on Shadowrun Returns.
So can't wait for Shantae! From what I played of that game it's pretty fun, and actually pushed the limits of the GBC!
Im playing Ni No Kuni now, trying not to spend so much on new games, but Time & Eternity looks good, my dears.
Dynasty Warriors is such a wonderful guilty pleasure. While it never makes great leaps of improvement in any of it's countless sequels, it's hard to deny the core fun that exists in it's power fantasy of being a Chinese general who kills hundreds of enemies in a battle. For some reason, the cheesy dialogue and voice acting has always endeared me to their titles, even though they can hardly ever been considered 'top notch' experiences.
While Dynasty Warriors recycles the story every time, I still can't get enough of pwning nubs with Lu Bu
Serious Sam is a serious FPS :D, great for classic style FPS action, like Duke Nukem, not like these mediocre cod clones you get nowadays, ton of fun.
@coldfusion25 Fully agree! But August will bring two great games, Splinter Cell Blacklist and Saints Row IV.
@SureBigBuster CoD player I guess
@SureBigBuster ever played it? it is fun in splitscreen... never had a Dynasty Warriors game but i played it on a friends 360 and it was really fun.
Where do you live?
Lol, same here, although I've always really wanted to play Warriors Orochi 3, I sold my 360 and that was apparently the best version (as the PS3 is digital only and the Wii U version doesn't run that well). MAYBE I'll get Dynasty Warriors 8.
@Dezuria Can't wait for this game!
@Dezuria No EU release =(, may they have mercy and localise it .
@Hammmodi Japanese week :)
@kabalzer0 @SureBigBuster i played dynasty warriors, the enemies never stop and all of a sudden they come in group and they disappear like ghost and it was repetitive , at least that is what i experienced. it was not much fun, i bought it to play co op.
@rIVAL_sWORD84 me too :D but at least the latter has long and strange hair lol but this one seems to be just a normal ponytail.
there is also Milla Rage from Guilty Gear games.
in the UK. Which means, even thogh there is an english version of the game in america, i have to wait for the game to be fully released into the rest of Europe.
Well you guys are getting Mario & Luigi Dream Team a month before us, although I don't mind as I'm currently busy with Code of Princess, Project X Zone and Animal Crossing (trying to get the first two out of the way to make way for Shin Megami Tensei IV and Mario & Luigi).
oh, it'll come out, i have no doubts about that. I had to wait three months before Fire Emblem: Awakening got a full release in Europe.
It's just the release date discrepancies for the 3DS games are really starting to irk me.
Ooo, yeah Europe tends to get Japanese games late, hopefully it comes soon since Nintendo obviously wants to push this game (most definitely to get more people interested in Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem).
