Its a great game, its not the best but its a great game. My friends say thats only a waste of money and time, in any case i just shut them up. For the other fans of NFS Undercorver just carry on and semper fi.
Extraordinary graphics plus sleek moves.I really hope it's comfortable and possible to do all that in the PC.Then maybe I can say why GS gave this a 7
i think that they cant produce another title like the most wanted lets hope IF they make another title of nfs lets just hope its better than the previous titles
for all of u who said i was wrong, it's okay^^. try it yourself... now i love the game really, but when it comes to handling, car hanling is just soooo 10000 % unrealistic. even though most wanted and carbon were total arcade games, they had the realistic feel when it comes to handling. i borrowed the game from a friend. it is actually very very very good in terms of graphics, it has a descent scenario, and the city is far from being poor. the game is beautifull in terms of esthetic, but when it comes to handling, i'm really sorry to say that, but the work behind is really unprofessional. really... i'm really upset, and handling being one of the most important aspects of a racing game (DUH !!!), the game is... nevermind. it still makes up for pro street...
Hotrider12......get a life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!You have commented so many freaking times.Get a life!!!
i wonder if how he says this is all real physics, if in midnight club, its that phony stuff hes talkin bout
I have to agree that the steering is much easier in NFS games then other driving games I've played. I played NFS: Carbon for a while then played GRID. Totally different. GRID is much harder to control the car even in the easiest modes.
looks very cool. I'm very disappointed on the drifting however. it looks like he is speeding up during it. Drifting is all about control and angle, not mario kart "boosting". either way, Its no where near game breaking. I'll be sure to get this. just forza will hold my heart for drifting
First of All LokuDWolf, Don't assume people have never driven all THESE cars from your comment. Sounds very Idealistic to me. Of course we haven't. You being a respected gamer who most likely own the NFS titles, doing a 360 for example in NFS underground 2 or something, felt a lot better in games back then. And Yes I agree its good enough for a game. I agree 100% but, as a fan of the series, i'm sure u wouldn't want to play all the NFS games with the same poor physics. You also have to understand that EA made a mistake with the last game Pro street. Go onto their Official forums and see the feedback players left while this game was in production. If we as consumers do not by this game because of the same lack there of? Then they will lose money again and so will we as gamers. Just in case u don't know, employees also read this kinda stuff we write so casually here. So it all get discussed in meetings. I will say strongly yes it does cause I work in a gaming studio. And who said anything about motorcycles? I'm sure I didn't see any in this game. Yea, people have a right to be anal about where they spend their money. Next thing you know, you will say don't buy the game if you don't like it.
You people can be so anal. As if you guys drove all these cars and can really comment. It's good enough for a game. I typed GAME! I mean I have done this type of stuff before and it was on point. And the 360 wasn't perfect in the game and won't be in real life. From a car to a motorcycle you can't keep the RPM level 100% consistent. NFS has done it again. Fabulous game. Can't wait to add this to the NFS collection.
Hrmmm I agree with some comments on the physics. That's not real physics at all. The interia of that 360 in motion would not keep that car in a perfect 360. That porche would be sliding around alot more than that. It feels as if when you do the 360, it slows down the car drastically and unrealistically, and keeps it in a perfect 360 line which is impossible. Its like a train doing a 360 on a railroad track and still keeping straight because it like its anchored to an invisible line. Yea Game looks great but nothing over the top to make me excited. LOl that 360 reminded me of the bad physics from Need for speed pro street, which I wont even talk about that blasphemous game lol.
I think I understand the difference between the physics the speaker is referring to and what we as gamers are thinking. It's the difference between ACCURATE and DETAILED. The physics look very detailed but not accurate (to the real world). Whether the physics are real (sim) or exaggerated (arcade) it should most of all be able FUN!
dont see nothing good or special about this game. I cancel my pre-order. hopefully in nov. 09 their might be hotpursuit 3 type game with tracks. not this open world-free roaming crap.
For who ever tell this MW got bad graphics, i dont agree.. I felt it had a really good graphics, at least that could run in a mid-end systems without any good graphics card.. I'm waiting for this game!
i should go to there HQ and show em how to rive in this game im very disappointed with these lil noobish tricks :p
Physics, Physics, Physics... What ? what kind of physics is that? When car touches or hits sidewalk it only shakes and there is no matter from which angle it always slids on it woithout damage. But yeah i agree with SAMWE its an ARCADE and always have been an arcade since NFS PORSHE... so i stoped playing it becouse it always disapoints me after buying second car wich can go ~300km/h. And i think people plays this game becouse it have legendary name, and they are too lazy to look for alternatives which are often better..
Well gameplay looked really fun, but the *** he was on was all bs; physics, uh yeah. Driving at 100mph and doing a perfect 180? Well still lookds fun!
lets not forget the fact that need for speed series have always been arcarde-like, not simulators, so i think that the speed part is not as bad as in need for speed pro street (i had my evo X going up to 400 km/h in a drag race...(lvl 2 upgrades). i simply couldn't help myself not finish the game, and resell it after 3 days of intense efforts to play it. what is lvl 3 like packages??cars run as fast as airplanes ?? lol)
handling looks really similar to pro street's uncontrolable cars (seriously, handling in prostreet sucked big times) what do you guys say ? handling in the previous need for speeds were 100 times better, and the cars more more interesting to drive and drift with. by the way that wasn't a drift... for me that's crazy unrealistic driving. reminds me of people making crazy cars for the previous nfs (special fnf's toyota supra that was made for hot pursuit 1 (pc)), drive crazy speed (500km/h) and turn crazily. lool. now i'm just beeing mean with EA but pro street was a living hell for me. most wanted and carbon. most wanted was the best but again... no damages, not enough customization (like Undergound 2) and no drifting. the city rocks and the cars rocks.carbon had nice cars but the game was a little flat though. the city didn't rock that much and the cops were louzy and not as exciting as most wanted's. the game had drifting but no drag races... what is it that's up with EA ? they don't want to make a complete game ? there's always an element missing. it's like dragonball Z. now that almost everybody has lost interest in the budokai series and everyone moved to another gaming platform such as xbox 360 and ps3 or wii, they come up with dragonball Z infinite world, which is budokai 3-like, and actually, that's how everybody wished the 3rd game of the serie would be. 4 years after budokai 3 came out, they come up with the perfect game. problem is who cares now ? really... i mean i'm still thinking about renting the game or borrow it, but i'm definitly not buying it. i just want to see how it is going to look like and that's it.play story mode and get over it. atari's marketing strategy definitly sucks and they need to review it, because they are not doing it right. getting back to need for speed. i'm definitly getting this game. it looks good. i still am crossing my fingers. i really want to try but i don't want to be upset. city looks good, cops are back, graphics look perfect, and damages is what i have wished to see in a nfs game for a long time. I don't want handling to be horrible, because the games looks awesome. what do u guys think?
1. There are DIFFERENT types of 911s the turbo is 4x4 the GT2 is NOT 4x4 2. How does echo 13 know what an 911 handles like? have you been in one echo 13?
Totally agree with Bakre. The game does look cool, but I think that cars have toooo much grip. A I also agree with ecno13 that that was not drifting. I think that driving physics of NFS Most Wanted were the best combination of fun, realism, and skill. Camera does look fun, but I dont think it will be too practical.
thay are out of new idea since underground 2 . EA you have to spend more time on making new need for speed .
wtf what the hell is he talking about. pritty sure i could do that stuff on mario cart 64. i think ppl asume u can do all those things without being told about it, it is a driving game after all.
I can't believe he's saying that they've never been able to do some of these tricks! Half of these like the 360 and reverse driving has be able to do since the Underground 2 days! I know these tricks are going to be better but his choice of words was terrible at times. Still a nice looking game for the PlayStation 3. Can't they just start showing more infomation?
GRID sucks ass. that game is no where near EA. that game has lame drift and steering. ea kicked its ass all the way back to drift the first game before grid.
i was hopping a nfs most wanted with better graphics, new maps and some other new stuff and thats all.. i dont want it to be easy or more unrealistic than it already was.
... those weren't even drifts..... Grid has the best drifting Of any game currently out... That was not drifting... :( I am excited to play the game for what it is but not expecting much.
