oh and for the high school portion at the beginning I would love to play in the all star game to improve your ESPN Top 100 status if at all possible. also improve computer AI(too much standing around while a guy makes a play) and make custom defensive playbooks per school like they did with the offenses for 11.
Give me an improved Campus Legend Mode next year, such as increasing draft stock, senior bowl, east/west shrine game, pro day, working your way up the roster on the field instead of a point system in practice, team chemistry, and the ability to be on special teams for a change(as in a returner) and I will be satisfied. Holding out hope for next year as always
Not a College football fan but i am sick of Madden being the same crap every year so i am gonna give this a shot
I want this so much more than madden 11. but i'm an idiot and bought an xbox360 (PAL). make it region free!!!!!!!!!!
this game is the best ncaa football game of all time. I love the online dynasty mode and the new recruiting this year. I love that I can recruit on the website because sometime I can't recruit on the xbox 360.
@ elmoro47 NCAA is college ball, NFL is on the national (professional) level. hope that cleared things up for you
isnt this the same as madden nfl 11, both by EA. Im confused, whats the difference by the way i know nothing about american football.
Sixty dollars for this? I'm not surprised. You don't get very many advancements each year when there is no competition between game developers. EA simply tweaks games at their leisure. This is why I will never own another Madden or NCAA football game. We miss you 2K!
For Xbox 360 owners if you want the current rosters for all 120 college teams type in the gamertag CK11 in the roster share menu.
Yeah! watching a load of students learning how to play American football (like chess, but not quite so interesting to watch...) I might get the British version - ooh, the excitement of Birmingham University against Loughborough University - or perhaps the Premier League under-18 league edition... Strange Americans...
@Elite_Baller Well aware of that. Theres a policy that NCAA has in place. I probably should have mentioned that as well.
Damn this had to have been the most boring video review I have ever heard. Seemed like there was a whole lot of nit picking on not having extra features (off the field content) when the focus on reviews should be about presentation, execution of controls, fun factor and, um, yea, that's right, gameplay. Wow. I remembered why I stopped coming to this site.
@6:47 & 6:55 the USC player just snatches the option pitch with one hand behind the offensive player's head. I hate it when these hyper-realistic things happen far too often. In my experience with the demo amazing catches and the like happened way too much. These are college players, not NFL. I don't see that many crazy good plays in Madden 10. Maybe Madden 11 will be better; I'm banking on it either way though.
I said this last year when this guy reviewed Madden and ill say it again LOUD AND PROUD.....I DONT CARE ABOUT WHAT SOME GUY NAMED GIANCARLO VARANINI THINKS ABOUT AMERICAN FOOTBALL GAMES !!!!! Listening to this guy review this game was so lame. HE JUST DOESNT SEEM LIKE A TRUE RED BLOODED AMERICAN FOOTBALL FAN. I want to hear a " profesional review " from a die-hard football fan ----dammit gamespot why is this the only guy to review football games on your site ?? That is plain ignornant. I dont really give a damn what this Giancarlo guy thinks...really i dont. GIVE US A LEGIT REVIEW FROM A REAL FOOTBALL FAN ---- geez
even if other companies made there own football games they wouldnt compare to ncaa or madden. but i would like to see the effort
@Thekiteless Every single player that has been on the cover finished college when the game is released. They never have players that are still in college on the covers.
What games like Madden and NCAA need is outside competition. They control the football market, so they can afford to rest on their laurels. The competition PES gave to FIFA in the soccer games market worked wonders in improving FIFA, forcing it to take advantage of EAs seemingly endless supply of funding
Over the last 3 years, I've given EA over $180 for college football. I felt like a sucker after buying 09. 10 was above the last 2 because of teambuilder. However, it lacked the ability to trade out the generic FCS teams in Dynasty play with real FCS teams. 11 did not fix that. With realignment next year, I think I'll save myself $60. EA just can't justify their price. They won't have their sucker this year.
Don't think I'm gonna get this years copy. Played the demo. Other than better looking graphics and some A.I./gameplay changes, it looks more of the same from pervious years. Don't really care for the online dynasty changes, I'm not gonna chronic out on recruiting while I'm away from my PS3.
Last year was the first NCAA title I skipped in years. For that reason, I'm very stoked for this one. Really excited about the new physics and gameplay.
Well i dont really want to put more money in the pockets of EA sports because they dont really change the game that much from year to year but im a GATOR till i die and if i dont get this game it will be bad mojo 4 my dawg Tebow so this is a must buy 4 me
Blah, I love college football and sports in general but these yearly sports games hardly have any significant changes... with the technology we have now, maybe they should just come out with a DLC and roster update yearly and then come out with a NEW game every other year instead! It just feels like they take the same game every year, tweak a few things, slap a new cover and number on it and ship them out. I'm not buying this game, maybe rent, but not buying. Go Canes!
Game play still needs some work and EA just doesn't get it. There is no real reason to buy NCAA 11 over NCAA 10. There is just not enough there to justify spending 60 bucks on it. Even Erin Andrews layed off and gave us her best NCAA 10 shot again. Come on EA!
ive been saying this whole time that i thought it was weird that they weren't talking about RTG mode. and now i know why....they didnt do a thing to it. i feel betrayed, thats my favorite mode
I just can't believe after all these years that EA has not corrected (NCAA or Madden) the scrambling QB thing; it makes it barely playable online.
I already have NCAA 10 and Idk if I should get this game later in the year. I think NCAA football is better than Madden though but Madden 11 looks like its upgrading a lot more than NCAA 11 to its predecessor.
it's been worth the wait a great review for an awsome game alot of work and effort has gone into this year's ncaa football 11 all i have to do now is wait - go blue - the biggest season yet - well done e.a
