@anoking ur makin it 2 general EA kicks 2k's @$$ in alot of things exept bball so u cant say they dont hav anything "good" 2 offer. like nhl, baseball, football, shooters etc.
Though NBA 2k pwns Live I still think nba live is originally for the NBA... I don't know why though, f*ck this game they didn't add Kobe dunking or shooting or Lebron dunking, they show the most cra**iest people ever, 2k FTW!
i've only ever bought EA's nba live for bball but i'm definitely not buying this piece of crap this year, i've never seen a "next gen" game look so fake. get it together EA
2k is the best will be the best and will always be the best!!! 2k10 will be an outstanding game. just wait and be impressed.
NBA 10 looks way more jerky and the players shoot a lot more stiffly and unrealistically than 2K10 I think. 2K10 looks a lot more fluid.
I see promise in Live but I would lose all credibility if I made some left field comment like Live is the King of this competition. 2K has proven it for 10 years straight. I am no fanboy though. So, I can say IMO Live has better graphics but that's it. I am bigger on gameplay than graphics and 2K basketball games has the best gameplay of any sports simulation in the history of video games.
yeah, i played the demo and I couldn't tell who was who in the shoot-around in the gym thing. All the players looked the same. They really took a step down in graphics, but then again, they took a step up in gameplay. However, 2k took 5 steps in every aspect of the game, which is why im gonna buy 2k10.
I played the demo for NBA live 10 and i was impressed with the demo for the 1st time since the next gen. systems were released i am looking forward to NBA live 10. My anniversary edition of NBA 2k10 is already paid for and waiting to be picked up on OCT. 6 @ midnite! In my opinion NBA live 10 plays like NBA 2k9 without a shot stick! Although NBA live 10 greatly outshines all previous editions NBA 2k 10 is gonna be on a whole mew NBA signature style level and i for 1 cant wait. I will buy NBA live 10 when i buy my PS3 slim on NOV. 1st.
no ronin, 2k series has gotten so solid that the only way it will be considered bad is if they pull something from left field and screw up the foundation of the game, the only thing that could happen is live just catching up, but from playing the demo player movement still feels a little stiff, although its improved alot from last yr something about it doesnt feel totally fluent. i think in 2k players move more natural still, through traffic, around guys, etc. Also some of the player faces look way 2 generic and kinda chubby/puffy a little bit (kobe looks weird in demo) when shots get blocked it doesnt feel natural, feels staged a little bit with the hand to ball contact. overall live is getting better and better each year. i think live will take a step to the next level when movement of players is fluent completely, then itll be a good competitor for 2k, and also the players seem kinda big 2, maybe its just me but it seems like theyre not proportionate to the court, they make them really built and big.
Nice. Will this be the year that the take 2K? I hope so... but maybe not. I have always been a fan and hate to see them get no respect.
