played the demo it was hot. then i played 2k10 nobody was playing defense and its more likely that you can block dwight on live making it more realistic than it is 2k playing the demo. and then i bought draft combine but found out that i wasted my money after somebody started it and couldn't redo it. but there both good games i just changed my mind and went back to my live collection.
totally agree with Flawless_Gamer, just because last years live sucked and last years 2K rocked, doesn't mean things can't switch this year. I've played both demos, and Live 10 is better this year!!
looks alot more polished then the last one....people think that nba 2k10 is going to be better but i dont think thats going to be the case this year!!!
Looks the same, a little improvement though, I hate Live 09 cause it has too much glitches....too much, and many off edges and stuff which irritates me, so please let NBA Live 10 be good or better than Live 09, but im getting 2k10 and Live 10, so that I'll find out for myself, but still 2k FTW coz I
Played the demo and decided that it was alright, nothing spectacular. Fun though which is all that matters.
Tested this on 360 on All-Star difficulty. Defenders standing in the lanes seem to intercept the ball more often, and you don't feel that passing is guaranteed as it was in earlier games. This makes you strategize a bit more and not just go for dunks and long range jumpers. Agreed with previous comment - would love to see this vid again at "All-Star" or "Superstar" difficulty levels. Another complaint - my demo kept 'hiccuping' in the middle of gameplay - running player would simply appear to 'freeze' then continue - not fluid at all. I hope this is simply an issue with the demo, and that the released game will be 'hiccup free'. 2K...we are waiting for your actual 2K10 demo (not the draft combine).
Just played through 2k10 draft and the LIVE demo. I must say that LIVE's presentation was slick and had more personality but the gameplay is still choppy, sketchy, and not as seamless as 2k10's engine. Live has the flash, but that fizzles out. Still don't know if I wanna preorder to get my Kobe figure yet.
all this 2k hype weres the 2k10 gameplay like live is doing i think we seen enough of the draft for 2k10
the gameplay looks awful...especially considering the fact that it's on PS3. choppy and poorly done....looks like it's 2k10 for me
i played the demo on xbox360. live is tryin to step their game up. I just might buy live this year i been playing nba2k games for the last 10 years or so, i might pass it up this year, or i just might get both nba live and 2k10.
great sound I think, but movements (animations etc) and graphics are lacking! Prefer the 2K series for now.
well they've certainly improved their animations, especially the running, they no longer look like monkeys on ice skates.
I really wish reviewers would play this game on all-star, seeing as that's what it was meant to be played on. I just know it's gonna get some bad reviews cause it was played on a difficulty that is made for cheesers (more dunks, passes don't get deflected as much).
I dont know about being more fluid than 2k, but I played the demo and it's feels better than last year. Im definitely picking up 2k10 over this because nba live just doesn't feel like authentic basketball to me. Looks ok though....
the demo is soooo good finally if they tweak a lil more the flew of the gameplay theyll have a chance to the king 2k
looks good..played the demo and it plays much better then last year...but 2k is still getting my money
