Nazi in the Crosshairs - Enemy Front Gameplay
Check out 3 different gameplay clips from Enemy Front where you lurk in the shadows stalking Nazi's, slowly and carefully calculating their fate...and then jump out and shoot them.
Maybe the player above just got super-lucky then, as in most of the bullets happened to just whiz by? Or that they were just glancing shots, or the AI enemies had a moment of incompetency?
I would say that if you are going to make this argument, do point to something more concrete, such as clear visual indicators, e.g. limitations on ammo and the indicators on the mini-map.
Besides, what if this is the regular difficulty? Then, you would still be technically wrong.
I recently finished this game and I must admit that I came across only a few. One fairly serious was the last mission, but it also may be important that the game I set my device to the minimum requirements. Soon I will play on better hardware and see if the same falls. Besides, the game is great for me! and the slide tackle ... it amused me at first, but later used it more often :)
Such I missed the game of WW II that I did not pay attention to errors in the EF. It's true that looks archaic as the old CoD or MoH. As for me, all right, good memories came back. :)
I don't care how much this games have bugs. I have a lot of good fun with Enemy Front on singleplayer. I missed to WWII shooter game so this game was on my must have list. Maybe AI and graphics is not on the best condition but soundtrack, storyline, weapons reproduction is great for me.
Have not heard of this game. Is this a goat simulator type deal? I have a hard time believing that I'm supposed to take this game seriously. Might have been better to take a page out of Brothers in Arms' book when it came to shooting/cover mechanics. What is with that melee combat?
Take a look at the videos online (quite a few on YouTube) of this game from 2012... the Stuart Black stuff. It looked amazing! Why did CI release Black, change everything, and make this game junk? What happened?
ugh, that ain't pretty. "Let me grab my sniper rifle back from upstairs. Oh nevermind it's stuck in the wall" 3:50
The reveal of this game showed promise, but this just looks silly. Is this supposed to be a comical throw back to Medal of Honor?
Are they serious? This looks so generic its actually comical. And thank god that whoever is playing this as infinite health on.
Also, anyone remember playing an Xbox game called "Men of Valor" maybe "Men of Honor" though I'm sure it's the first one. It's a really fun shooter game set during the Vietnam War, and followed a soldier from his first month through his whole tour of duty. It was a great game, had jungle fighting, ambushes, and so much more. I would LOVE to see a glut of Vietnam War games this new generation over WWII or the like. Even more then "Modern Warfare" The Vietnam War has so many battles, history, and areas of combat that much could be done with a game set during it. Imagine being a PFC at first, walking through jungles where the game uses an algorithm to decide if on that mission you see combat, or get hit by booby traps, or see nothing at all. You can do some well know combat ops like TET, Hamburger Hill, LRRP (Long range reconnaissance Patrols) teams with 4 to 6 man teams deep in enemy areas, where u have to remain quiet, if playing Co Op and using mics, and if someone talks loud you can give your position away, and the list goes on. I know I would love to see it done by the right company, now I can only hope it happens one day. Who's with me?
Um, a few questions. First, who is playing that game? If it's PvP the guy is playing as if it's single player. Now my other questions, first is it PvP only? Second, if it's not PvP only, does it have a long campaign? Third, short of the poor game play from the person playing, it does seem to look fun and have potential. Though PLEASE bring back Single player shooters & action games that are Single player only and longer then 5-7 hours. Oh, also, PLEASE STOP WITH ALL THE HANDED HOLDING IN GAMES!!!!!! I am sick of seeing "follow/this way" through my game, let us move at our own pace.
Watching these clips of ENEMY FRONT hurts. I followed this game for years and really had high hopes that Stuart Black would return to form at CI Games. Unfortunately, Black was released from the company, the game was completely re-tooled, and this resulting release is just slightly above CI's BATTLESTRIKE games (not good). This release certainly shows no resemblance to the demo ushered around by Black a few years back. Now we have this...
... an easy shooter that seems to have forgotten evocative art direction for generic rubble and countryside, graphics that look decidedly "old," and uninspired gameplay. CI can talk all they want about the Warsaw storyline, but a good story alone can't make a game worth playing. Seems even poaching a few SNIPER ELITE devs couldn't help this game. Too bad.
I'd so wanted a good WWII shooter to come out of this... Oh well...
Gameplay video commenters are the best game players in the world. I know that because every gameplay video in the universe features a dozen people talking about how much better they are--or would be--at the game being played!
Yeah, it didn't work out as you planned, did it? It's a game made by City Interactive. You'd think their games would get better, you'd think they'd be more experienced by now, you'd think their games are worth buying or even mentioning, but all of that thinking effort is in vain.
@Lucky-B Brothers in Arms is a great series. Hoping Gearbox revisits it on console soon.
As for ENEMY FRONT, it's sadly terrible... but look at videos of Black's early pre-alpha build from 2012... it was a completely different (better) game before CI canned Black.
Guess the only WWII shooter we have to go this year is SNIPER ELITE 3, but that series started amazing and then hit a low with SEV2... the corridors, invisible walls, glitches, and bad AI really killed my enthusiasm for 3.
@themc_7 That's a feature. It's just intricately hidden.
@Mizaun Stuff like missions where you may or may not encounter combat would be cool, but we'll probably never see that, certainly not in AAA games.
Did you ever play the Vietcong series on PC? Those were pretty good Vietnam shooters.
Yh I remember that. Best Vietnam game ever and not really given the credit it deserved. It was created by some of the team who used to make Medal of Honour.
Oh, was it an Xbox game? I remember playing it on PC. I guess it was a multiplatform game. Other than that, the game was great.
How is this gameplay in any way multiplayer? First, it's ironic how most of the people bragging that they could play it better don't have the experience to tell if a game is multiplayer or single player. Second, who the heck calls an fps multiplayer mode pvp? Third, short of the person playing maybe making a point that you failed to notice, if this game has potential and looks fun, you either have extremely low standards, or I have extremely high ones. And lastly, to whom are you making these video game requests here on this comment section? I'm seriously curious... and condescending.
Maybe you should consider the possibility that the game itself is easy.
@volk036 That's not only not true in this clip, it's not true in any of our gameplay clips.
I can tell it's not PC for sure. It's obviously played with a gamepad, and it has PS3 notifications, as far as I can tell. I don't know if PS4 has the same kind of notifications.
@trendk it's a Playstation (no idea if it's 3 or 4)
This is the time when publishers clean house of last gen crap that wasn't up to par when the console had lots of steep competition. Wait till the budget titles arrive. It'll get quite scary.
Well I played the game on the hardest difficulty level; You'd die in 3 shots or so. While in the video, you're getting hit by dozens of bullets and you're still managing to stay alive.
Or maybe you just aren't very good?
Well, it's still a possibility that you may not be very good at the game.
Because you said so, right? I suppose that because you said so, it is straight-fact without any evidence to back it up?
Yes because I know myself more than you do. You're free to believe it or not. The argument is over unless you're just trolling :p now you're talking about evidence and backups ? Well play the game then come back and watch the video. It shows how easy the game is on the video.
You can say that, but there are statements on the Internet which says that the game is not as hard as you say. For example, there is Dave Rudden's remark in the review for the IGN at IGN:
"Since you usually have multiple paths to your next checkpoint and don't have to clear the battlefield of enemies, taking advantage of the fact that enemies can't hit a moving target with much success will work out in your favor quite often, even on the highest difficulty."
Maybe you are just playing the game the wrong way.
I'm not sure. I have over 10 hours on the game and to me the difficulty in this particular video is too easy to what I've experienced on the hardest difficulty. And btw just because Dave Rudenn said that doesn't mean it's true. Anyway the game's AI suffer at some parts.
