Neat features! I'm still not too happy with the memory card prices but this definitely has potential.
I really like the fact that they incorporated the touch screen into gaming as I am fond of playing games on my iPod Touch, but now I'll be playing on a PS Vita! I'm very excited! \(^o^)/
AWESOME I TELL YOU AWESOME THE WEB BROWSING IS EVEN WAY BETTER THAN THE PS3 AND IT REMINDS ME OF WEB BROWSING ON MY PC GREAT JOB SONY.
"Am I buying another 3ds, but with B level games?" The DS is already like that, offering a million different B level games interspersed with good ones.
@Eliianar I have never used a touch screen before either I tired the vita at an event and it is actually very easy to use you will get the hang of it almost instantly after using it I wish that my psp go has touch screen it makes stuff allot easy example typing on the vita is way easier then on my psp and even my ps3
yes it looks great, but launch games are already not that great, no removable battery, better waiting 2 years and see were it goes
@theshonen8899, @3abbid Maybe, or maybe it's a different Vita. That is possible. Either way, both are going to have a lot of the same features, as folks owning a WIFI version will be doing the same things in a WIFI area. As far as social bull$h!t, this younger generation now is consumed by that junk. Sony isn't going to overlook that fact and leave something like that out when they are competing with WIFI machines like all the Apple devices that are WIFI and play games as well. I don't expect any gaming device from now on that is WIFI to not have those features.
Did anyone else notice that they wouldn't let it show a web-page load? And the only page they showed us was Facebook already loaded? And when they showed us the PS Store they time-lapsed it to finish the loading time! If the Vita can't load web-pages and stuff at a rate comparable to the iPhone, this product will fail.
I aren't too impressed by this :/ May give it a miss. I like my tech. But if someone owns an Ipad, Laptop and games console why buy one of these? I know it's cool to have these all in one. But i dunno, something about ti just doesn't seem too appealing.
unless you are a guitar player, cut your nails before shot the video, please! im taking a breakfast here!!!
Screencaps. F N Finally But I don't really like the home menu interface. The whole bubbly colorful thing just really ruins it for me. I loved the XMB, it was sleek and easy to navigate. I have no doubt that accessibility isn't going to be an issue, but there's just something offputting about the visual design direction. @Eliianar Touch interfaces are surprisingly easy to navigate. When I got an Itouch, I found it quite easy to adapt to the controls, and Apple-esque controls are a staple in touch interfaces (even though they didn't invent it)
Do you have to use the touchscreen to navigate everything? I have little to no experience with touchscreen devices. If I bought this it would be a first. So, I hopefully there is an ability to navigate some things without using touch.
@3abbid well the vita does both very well and there are social stuff in games like this website and clans and bunch of other stuff has well
@3abbid I agree with ya, but I think they're demonstrating a 3G Vita, so those are the types of things people would expect in a 3G device.
