The game hasn't even come out and people is already saying it's a rip off of something.... You know what, developers should stop making games so the gamers would be happy to play their beloved old games forever ! And would be no ripp off anymore ! What about that ?
Every fucking game is the same, it has guns, or you need to jump, run, slash with your sword....etc.... should we stop playing them because it's a rip off of something ? Will you stop playing racing games because you need to press the gas pedal and the cars have 4 wheels ?????? Will you stop playing FPS games because you need to SHOOT ?????????????????? gtfo !
Wasn't it for the multiple gunshot wounds and I would bet my stakes on suicide after some f****d up case. Don't like the idea of a linear plot but it seems fresh enough so I'll definitely be trying this one out.
I get the concept , but , that after , after the fact scene in the street where the mugger or whatever took his "holstered" gun out of the holster and shot the dead man walking with his own gun that was not in his holster , this may have been an illusion or the dead man was not careful with handling sidearms ? it must be just me I did not hear or see 7 shots go off before the window scene ? I get the concept of where this may be heading , but , not from this video ? sorry I watched this 5 times and still don't get it ? believe me I am not one of those damn critics either !
VERY interested. Funny how Square Enix's most interesting games are the games they publish and don't develop lol
u wanna know why this is chief?
its not ac 19 or cod 12 or who gives a fuck 7, its new, its cool, its probably a 7.5 but fresh is better then stale anyday
The premise of the game definitely looks cool... Looking forward to seeing what the actual gameplay looks like.
Premise looks interesting, though with a name like Ronan O'Connor was kind of hoping it would be set in Ireland rather than what appears, from accent, to be America.
This could be a very fun game, if done right. I'm going to be keeping an eye on it. Or, you know, hitting the +follow button. Don't judge me!
I don't really care what SE says, the games I've played from them recently have been pretty impressive. This definitely looks great. Like others are saying, the gameplay is really a big subject. It doesn't appear to be a shooter so far. I'm thinking it might be something similar to Alan Wake, where there was shooting but it was done a little differently. Either way, this is a picture perfect trailer. Amazing and beautiful cinematic and then some in-game video. Awesome job SE, definitely looking forward to E3
@dalua360 Yeah I totally agree with you. How can a game be a rip off? Developers just change the story and gameplay thats all. If the game was copied from a third person game. Then it will be in the 3rd person genre. People just want to be a smart ass and start saying its a rip off as if they are the master of gaming. What can I say kids these days are like that. Just look at the game Thief that will be releasing in 2014. Kids who have no idea about the game will say that its a rip off Assassins Creed.
@cristigyk It really is a shameless rip off.
@SavoyPrime Except when you pause it at 2:18, it says the game is being both published AND developed by Square Enix.
@JoshDPUseven shots dude...nasty execution
@JoshDPU It's actually in the center, behind the sternum, but since the left ventricle is a little bigger than the right one it is considered to be on the left side... I think.
@cboye18 True.. I felt some dejavu
@Oozyrat Well, although I don't know which games you played recently, the most recent Square Enix games were just being published by them. The games they developed haven't been very good for some time. However, this game surely isn't being made by Square Enix. It's either Eidos Montreal or some other western developer that's making it.
That said, I'm really excited about it and grateful that it's coming to PC.
@grayyfoxx @SavoyPrime I thought Airtight Games of Quantum Conundrum fame is developing this. But yeah, it does say "developed by Square Enix" at 2:18.
@Arkhalipso Haha maybe he has Kartagener's Syndrome with associated situs inversus?
@AndCarlsen That's true. Maybe their just a really good publisher then :P and yeah, even though I play most games on console and get a few on PC, I always hate not seeing PC included in a launch. Though with a ton of pirating I can see why they avoid it, but still it's not fair to the PC only gamers that actually do buy the games. Like most, I get my games through Steam, and with their sales I don't know why anyone wouldn't spend $5-$10 on a legal copy :/ I'm pretty cheap with money but seriously?
@anigmha That'd be interesting if Kim Swift were working on this.
