Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes Current/Next Graphic Comparisons
So how does Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes look on the PS3, Xbox 360, PS4, and the Xbox One? Which one looks best to you?
Am I the only one wondering why games are being released simultaneously on next gen and old gen? It really makes the next gen look bad. Also, I hear this game is open world; when they had all the systems up at once I noticed the PS4 had a clear sky while the others were cloudy. That's probably why it looked better.
The game looks good on all platforms. The xbone version looks slightly better than the xb360 and PS3, unlike the PS4 version, that showed a superior quality than the current gen and xbone version
Looks like Konami didn't put a whole lot into the Xbox One version (PS4 does look best). But I'm a Xbox One owner and although the PS4 may have a little more power under the hood, when I play a game like Ryse: Son of Rome (which is okay but graphics are amazing! The best looking next gen so far) I know they could've made this game look better. But oh well, not a big fan of MGS or Konami. Can't wait to play Thief next week.
it's only a short game so if it doesn't have any missing gameplay features from the next gen version, I'll just get the PS3 version.
all that comparison showed me, was to not waste any money on a PS4 or an Xbox 1 yet and to just stick with my PS3 and my PC until further notice.
Saw the entire version of this video uncut. Thought it was kind of weird when the credits started rolling at 2:50. :/
WoW that is hilarious the fact that these movies never really are able to demonstrate any difference until NOW!!! the ps3 and ps4 versions you can tell the difference straight away....the sharpness alone that the fullHD of the PS4 brings is undeniable. That said the difference between Xbox360 and XboxOne just makes me SAD....I mean the increased texture size and anisotropic filters and even some sort of AA is just wasted when you output the game at 720p....the only visible improvement then on the XBOX1 is the texture detail....im sad cause i wanted the PS4 and the Xbox to really push each other in fierce competition. To produce great next gen games in the end the benefits would come towards people like me....PC gamers =D So we wouldnt have to play with limited graphics due to ports and stuff....But every time (EVERY TIME...geeez) a multiplat comes out for this next gen the Xbox just gets more vulnerable. Sony dominating the scene does NOT make me happy at all. Dont want the gaming scene to get all "japanezee" like it was till the mid 90s.....oh well we will see uat happens.
PS: The colour palette on the Xbox One is also very disappointing....washed out and crappy dark levels...damn.....
Its just look more Dark on the Ps4 and the sky is all blue but in the X-one their is some cloud ...Why ?
Holy crap, I won't feel let behind with the PS3 version, the game looks terrific on all platforms.
The 360 and One images look nearly identical...
Yes it does. But he Ps4 is the where the REAL eye candy is.
@sith_lord7819 Don't be so sure it's due to a lack of effort. Have you played the Titanfall beta? I was kind of surprised by it, I mean I don't wanna say it looked like an Xbox 360 game, but, it kinda almost did :).
@GOGOHeadray really? might need glasses ... hahah
@Darkauscus ps4's lighting is far superior as well.. People say, konami must not have spent a lot of time on making it look better on xbox, that sounds like a poor excuse for the boxes clear issues. As most games are running at lower resolutions, to compensate for a lack of power. The xbox is simply not made for gaming, which is disappointing...I actually wanted to pick one up, but I shall wait till a good reason comes.
@nl_skipper identical ? not really...
@hystavito @sith_lord7819 I didn't play the beta, but Titanfall's graphics never impressed me much. But like I said, when you look at a game like "Ryse" (which looks really good) I know devs can create some really good looking games for the Xbox One. Sony's system does have more power (just like last gen) but I believe the X1 will have some great looking games!
