Okay this looks cool but I don't like the idea of playing it on a Xbox. Some series just feel right on their home system like I wouldn't want to play mario on a PS3.
doesn't anyone talking about the horrible music actually realize it would be hard to replace it with something at a slower tempo, this is some furious hack n' slack stuff, though the music may not be perfect it they've definitely nailed the pace.
Nice to see someone who knows how to play the game. The person playing on the video at GameTrailers was HORRIBLE! This one makes the game look much better. I'm also really liking that they kept the element from the original Metal Gear Rising concept of gaining health by taking a cyborg's spine.
darn , tough it was a bunch of planes and shit , but still the combat in this game looks very promising
Can't wait for this game... If it's going to be just half as good as last MGS...
Looks very good. I only hope that the story will at least half as good as graphics.
what's the deal ripping out an enemy's spine to regain Hp , what if below the red and no one's around and the next scene pops out into a boss fight ???
@LE5LO the music is simply HORRIBLE and def out of place for a metal gear game
i hope there will be an option to turn it off cause its simply not working
@Erzcn24 ye lol its was like i was playing an atari game
@OrNiGhTZ What if it used health pickups and there weren't any around before a fight? If you die and restart the section, you've got full health again. Really once you get used to grabbing some spines, you balancing when to even fight the standard grunts in the game. For instance, part of this was a fight with gekkos and soldiers, you can leave the soldiers alone and focus on the gekkos, then slash the soldiers when you need health. It works well and the game just plays so well that I don't think you'll mind.
@gatsbythepig That's not really what they 'Live Now'......
That's just a catchphase title they use to grab people's and let them know TGS, as whole, is going on now.
@Albaficas Out of place? The franchise has never had a game that plays with 'lightning bolt action', lol. The music has always been slower, the gameplay was always MUCH slower than what we've seen here. Saying it's 'horrible' seems like an overstatement. Like I pretty much said already at least the B.P.M is right. If you tried syncing up the music from the action scenes of the last games to this game it would be 'horribly' underwhelming to the action on screen. It demands something like this.
Of course you'll be able to mute the music volume, I haven't seen a game in years that comes without that option separated from the SFX.
This seems to be in good hands with Platinum and Kojima, I think they know what they're doing in all regards to this game and it will be wonderful with this kind of music, so Chill Winston!
