honetstly the NES game wasn't that great, fun, but not great so a reboot was probably the best choice.
@megafitch Preach it brothah
Ah, the original was one of the first games I ever played for the original game boy, it's great to see it finally come back, it's come a long way!
@carnivalshow - I can bet you any money you wouldn't even get halfway through this game. Art style isn't an indication of how fun or how difficult a game is going to be, you plastic Modern Warfare "trendy gamer"
God that game's gonna be hard as hell. First of all an enemy turns you into a goddayum appetizing shrimp plus you have to kill the prettiest final boss ever. Nintendo. What have you done?? Oh yeah. Sakurai, you're a genius.
@Carnivalshow: Technicly if u were 10 you cant even buy it, lol! Also dont judge a game by its cover. just go back to playing ur cruddy MW3
3ds don't cut it because they dont go for games like for older people kids dont have money people in my age bracket do and games like this just suck .
Aw man now we get robotic vehicles!? This game just keeps throwing awesome stuff at us, this game's gonna be awesome, and its online mode is showing how Nintendo's stepping it up on online Mutliplayer as its awesome and VERY Unique. You think Eggplant wizard wasnt enough now we got Tempura wizard, EPIC LOL @heroesfan261 It is kind of cliche, but dark pit just seems to be the Underworld version of Pit, and whats interesting is how both think the other is a copy, and besides the online/local Multiplayer team battle's unique gimmick of having the first player who dies after meter drains turn into Pit/dark, being super powerful but once dies the whole team loses,makes dark pit and regular pit fit in nicely.
"Hey there, Pit stain." Wow... I wonder if there'll be more lines like that. It's good that they have a great cast of voice actors for the english voice over, makes it acceptable not to have a language option.
@Sepewrath I once heard someone refer to the SSB series as the "gateway game" (like a gateway drug). It's pretty accurate, seeing how much interest it made people have in old franchises like this -- Or even games previously not released outside of Japan like Fire Emblem.
always wished for this series to come back to life only thought it wasnt gonna be a handheld but it defiantly looks awesome cant wait for this to come out
@caffiend7 Smash Brothers is a great platform to gauge interest in a character. Punch-Out may have been a product of Brawl too.
