Excellent class in ME1, but not the first playthrough. I really missed my singularity. Great when you have the chance to pick it as an extra skill in character creation though.
thats a great class to play in ME1, i thought a shotgun was the most effective weapon, and biotics are fun too, so you get the best of both worlds when playing as a vanguard.
Why have they significantly decreased the number of powers? Hmm... I really hope this is a good thing...
I love how she says "And charge away from a dangerous situation" then immediately after charges into another enemy ^^
you can keep your char from the first ME and change to whatever new class you want in ME2 during the reconstruction of your char.
HOleh Hell that looks way TOO awesome and Imba lol Ima totally be that class first... or ima have to be other classes first they don't seem lame to this one?
It's stupid to think in this way : I was soldier but in ME2 it is the "lame" class so I will choose another. We haven't seen what soldier class has to offer in ME2. It may have something interesting...
Not sure how I feel about that charge. I mean, it's cool. But I wonder if it's going a bit... overboard.
now they give you biotic armor and you insta;ly jump to the person. they went overboard with the talents
I hope that charge attack has somekind of Cd and so it can't be used all da time..Well i would not use even if would be possible..Would seem too simple combat if repeating.
Oh yeah in Mass Effect 1 i'm lvl 16 Vanguard at the moment and it's very entertaining :) Will buy Mass Effect 2 in february :) Good luck for Bioware and thanks for great 1st part and after finished that then anxiously going to adventure in 2nd part. 1st one has been goodie with normal difficulty and shooting with Mako vehicle's cannon is sooo much fun =)
In the first one i was a vanguard, and i believe that is still the best class in ME1, however i thing that the charge ability, although many of you love it, just looks way to stupid and 'phasing through objects' just means so you can instantly go through cover and get obliterated on harder difficulties. I think im going with the adept this time since i always found biotics more fun than shooting (though that was still great).
Vanguard is STILL the best class, as it was in the first.......I wished they had shown this earlier, maybe they were going in alphabetical order.... @arashxMYM: say ten Hail Mary's and then it will be the 26th.............lol
I was a vanguard my first playthrough, and they fixed the only thing I didnt like about the class: dealing with long range enemies. Go Shepard!
i played as a solider and an adept, which i both loved, and they are both very different styles... i'm even more confused with 6 classes now! i'll just be staring at the class selection screen for 2 days lol
Nice, if you pause between 0:18 and 0:19, you finally get to see some of the evolved powers. Heavy Charge + Improved Shockwave please!
Holy crap. They have definitely upped the powers in this one. I played as the soldier/biotic mix last time, but I NEED that charge...
Finally.. a look at my class of choice total, complete, across the board AWESOMENESS *I type as i mark an "X" across another day on my calendar count-down*... My only regret, is that it is currently WAY too freaking cold in London for me to consider camping outside Game(shop) on the night of Jan 28th starting to freak out. Need this game YESTERDAY!
In the first game I only played as Soldier, Adept, and Engineer. Now I'm gonna be playing as every player.
I was sittin here like "Oh that cool, he froze that chick", then he blasts her across the room and all I could say was "DAAAMNN!"
Now if only they could work in Shepard shouting " FALCON PAAAAWWWNNNCHE!!!!!" every time he used the charge. Then maybe just maybe that power would almost be ridiculous. Now imagine something big and heavy like a Krogan doing that to you. O_o
I think I just pooed my pants!!! Why is Bioware making it so damn difficult to decide what class I want to play with first?
