-Epic Story -Good Gameplay (reminds me of Final Fantasy series) -Nice Graphics (I guess the Japanese is really good at it) -but the Character design looks Creepy it reminds me of Glenda from "Seed of Chucky" movie XD
The game reminds me of Final Fantasy in a good way. IGN gave it a 6.8, so I'll probably rent it. If the nearest Bb store has it, that is.. Seems like the game goes under their radar so far.
it looks decent but the lip syncing is waay off and the voices don't really fit the characters. i'd also like to see what the battle system will be like. and i agree canders eternal sonata has awful voice acting course their character designs wern't the best either. i don't like how their eyes move around so much its kinda creepy.
i hate english dubs they should have a voice changer where you can choose english or japanese audio japanese sounds so much better
i really don't know what your all crying about. The voice actors actually sounds better than most . i.e., eternal sonata, the guy with the hat sounded like he was 40. The graphics look decent, and the story line is actually good looking. In comparison to other jrpgs on next gen systems, this looks better than a whole lot of them save tales of vesperia and that's about it. This is gunna be underrated like enchanted arms
Is this a young Kain. Not the next gen graphics, but OK. Will wait to see more on this game which seems to incorporate game designs of the past.
I hope their is an option to play this game subbed with Japanese audio. That way it would cover up some of the corniness and not so great English voice acting. :p
The voices feels weird. They are nicely done, but it doesn't fit the characters somewhow... Or maybe it's the lipsync... Graphically it's correct, but not great compared to other recent RPGs. I'll probably get this game. I'll give the saga a second (and last) chance. I did the same with the first game on PS2 and purchased withotu waiting for reviews. It was a big mistake. I do hope, it won't be this time ^^.
I might get it, hmm, I love RPG's and it has a little promise to it, we'll see when the time comes...
@Lord_Sesshy it is LeLouch, who is also Ichigo from bleach + like five million other characters in the anime world, I just finished watching code geass and also I hear his voice everywhere so I know it by now...not a bad voice actor but its funny that I hear him everywhere
The main character sounds like LeLouch from Code Geass, which as of now is my favorite anime (same guy who did Ichigo on Bleach) so I'm happy that he did the voice acting. Though I have to admit, does anyone else notice that people do better voice acting in animes then in games even though its the same person doing the voice acting?
come on guys old games (bad graphics) best gameplay and story like ff7/8/9 legend of dragoon legaia 1 grandia 1 first thing gameplay then story then sound effect and music then graphic at last voice acting
the main character and his love interest are voiced by the same people who did the English voices of Ichigo and Rukia on Bleach? Coincidence? I think not
Certainly seems better than the last Magna Carta...but I'll approach this with caution to avoid disappointment.
looks good but not great. still a lot of work to be done on it. more importantly, GIVE ME AN EFFIN PS3 VERSION U !*^#!#)*&!!
Oh my god no...not "The One Note Wonder" Johnny Yong Bosch as the main character...I loved him as a power ranger, but he's played basically the same character with a different look and name in all animes & games he's been in...
LOL, I love how the english voice cast of Chobits and Eureka 7 was selected to do this game. Some of the more classical voices from the crew might make sense, but man, I don't want to listen to Renton the whole game through. And at least there was a great chemistry during Eureka 7, which made the voices of everyone make sense. These just seem tacked on. And LE SIGH, what happened to the GOOD JRPG? Super cliche now, it makes you cringe and cry out every time the main character spouts some canned, corny line.
I love JRPGs, I really do. But, I gotta say, seriously... what the hell is this? A manboy with the destiny to save the world (that he never asked for! "Whatever! Why me!?") falls in half-love with the rambunctious girl who demands he follow his dreams! And then a wolf thing talks to him and "I MUST BELIEVE IN MY TRUE STRENGTH." Fireballs ensue.
This game is like the next gen final fantasy for the next generations. I would play it if I had kids and I wanted them to know a good storyline. But, not for me, too much romance for me.
