if u guys havent watched the gameplay movie j!e!t!s! jets jets jets watch it cuz man this game looks like its going to be way to easy with the coach telling u wat play to run
@ saiyanman5215 i think a two-year schedule w/ roster updates in the off year is ingenious and it would take away the whole "wasting $60 EVERY YEAR" feeling people get when the next madden is set to release, i like it
same garbage, running will be 2 easy, wut about 2-3 yard runs not the home runs we keep seeing, fake azz jukes their more about the o than the d
:30 looks like hes doing a high knee drill? wtf ea and do you see peaple juking out ppl like that on sunday? i think not!
Someone please explain to me me why madden NFL can't use ESPN presentation. Just imagine having Mike Tirico, Ron Jaworski, and Jon Gruden calling the cames while having a Monday Night Football presentation. Also replacing the Extra Point halftime and post game shows with with SportCenter or Sunday NFL Countdown. Bring Chris Berman back and get rid of Fran Charles. It has always bugged me ever ince EA got the NFL exclusive rights. They have the option, why dont they just use it.
As a former lineman, thank you for finally fixing this. I think they finally got a guy that knows about zone blocking and assignment blocking. Nothing more infuriating than watching supposed NFL linemen make mistakes on blocking that a freshman in HS wouldn't make.
Man finally it looks like the guys at EA are starting to get their act together. We will see when the demo hits the PSN.
How Ironic, the guy on the left is wearing running shoes, but it doesn't look like he runs very much.
ohjtbehaaave, chances are, it wont it hasnt ever since it hit the next gen consoles, they need to completely redo the foundation, like NHL and NBA games theyre adding real time physics, that is definatley what they need to do, especially since a football game would make more sense in incorporate better physics.
The guy in the armchair looks like Randall from recess, you know the snitch? haha thats good but seriously, this game is probably better than last years but the gameplay hasnt been there since madden 06 hit the next gen, they should move to real time physics like NBA Elite and NHL 11 are.
"If gameplay's not there" nothing else really matters. So right! Thank goodness they fixed the blocking. There was nothing more frustrating than having a clear run to the endzone, one blocker in front, one defender coming and you, and to have your blocker suddenly turn around and block someone behind you. Omg that was annoying. Here's hoping they really fixed it this time.
nice, I'm not a huge NFL fan, but I did find the last couple of games a bit weird when pro athletes would ignore their defensive jobs on occasions.
I might actually buy a next gen Madden game for the first time. I also read GI preview last month and it really looks like the are fixing the game for the better.
at the risk of sounding like an apologist, it actually looks at least so far like they are "trying" to address long standing issues....I still think they need to change the production schedule to possibly a 2yr (every other year) sched with only roster updates in the "off years"........as a huge NFL fan, I personally could live with that and I think more of the public would be more excited about the games when released on that schedule, plus this gives them more time to address things that may or may not go wrong with each addition........I know this isnt new but it's actually kinda sad to see some of the extreme bashing the madden team has taken in the past half decade or so
Wow, did Ian Cummings actually admit that Madden had a flaw @ 1:22? I'm confused why it should have taken them this long to recognize this issue with o-line blocking. It's the year 2010 and despite "next-gen" technology Madden can't get o-linemen to figure out how to make their blocks? Nano-blitzing is still an issue, effectively destroying online play. If gameplay is so important to EA, then they shouldn't be wasting their time on new commentary, improving player likeness, and dumbing down things for casual audiences. They need to go back to the drawing board and deliver the fans a better football GAMEPLAY experience, period. Stop wasting time on the gimmicks and improve the fundamentals. The rest will come with time.
