@PlatinumPaladin true that, the rigidity of the gameplay is still dominant despite the variations they put in the boss fight, by allowing to switch between player and the VS, eventual each modes had the same repetitive button mashing which looked more boring than challening, like in capcoms older DMCs. also the trailers are emphasizing a lot on the multiplayer, which sadly portends the single player to be less promising, like the 2nd one was. It would definitely be worth looking forward to if they can provide a promising single player campaign, with not just good story and environments but also varied gameplay mechanics, and variations in them, as the predominant grapple dive mechanics are just too darn outdated and many games have already executed them better.
