Chris Watters loads up on Titan firepower and shows you the best places, on the best maps, to use them.
Did you enjoy this video?
must admit, i think the game is a disappointment. i bought it on steam so can't get a trade-in. was okay for the first weekend but it became boring very quickly for me and haven't touched it since...
Titanfall GoTY 2014 - called it!
I've tried the matchmaking beta quite a bit, and while I did have a few people here and there that were ranked way higher than anyone else (and a lot better than everyone else), for the most part, it was really well done. That was my major complaint about the game before, so much that I was about to just give up on the game all together. This change has made it a lot of fun to play though, so I'm really glad Respawn included this as an option.
My experience is that being on foot and letting my auto titan run around to distract works the best.
how do u get smart riffles ? and super strong armor on your titans? came across a guy who was super good. he was in his titan and he was full of flames and i hit him with a few rockets then called my titan down. got in it and hit him with everything i had and he blew my titan up in 4 shots . he also could know right where u was as soon as he turned a corner and kill him with 2 shots from his riffle and it would lock into me and even still hit me when i ran behind the building for cover. i dont know how u could be this good. wow
Strider + Triple Threat FTW
i heard the stryder actually has a more powerful punch than the other classes, can anyone confirm? great video btw, will consider some of those loadouts. and yes, the game is awesome- when it finally hits the 360 and the amount of players increases twenty-fold, it will be even bigger news.
Ah I see that my earlier comment was erased! The matchmaking beta is never used on the PC. I would select it because the matchmaking in this game is horrible. This should have been available during the beta and such since its called beta matchmaking after all.
oh gamespot give it rest, the didn't live up to the hype let it go
Can't say I'd recommend using the Electric Smoke instead of the Vortex Shield as the Stryder.
Yeah, it might be good for that offensive strategy. But you do need to at least live long enough to initiate any offense.
The Stryder is made of glass, and electric smoke won't shield you from missiles salvos that you can't always dash out of.
This mediocre shooter is still relevant?
@forbiddenmow Good thing you commented on a load out video about not liking the game
I play a lot of CTF so I find I'm in my Titan a lot.
@monson21502 That sounds like hacking. Watch the kill cam and report him or her if that's the case.
You can get a new Ogre (tank) class once you complete both campaigns and spec him to live longer when your doom is immanent.
@FBohler I'm a big fan of Strider with Triple threat and Smoke. You can just lazily shoot while you dash circles around Ogres and Atlas mechs. Easy kills.
It's punch is not very powerful, but it has the most pushback distance of any punch.
It doesn't do much damage, but moreso than any other Titan, sends them reeling backwards the farthest.
Stryders are hit-and-run Titans, so their punch is basically a "Get Off Me" tool.
@daviz88 Didn't live up to the hype? Wiping the floor with anything else that's on offer, as well as breathing a huge whiff of fresh air into a stale genre? Okay, sure.
@daviz88 Why are you here then? You slow? Selling over a million copies and doubling xbone sales in not living up to the hype? Not to mention its's score.I smell retarded fanBOY.
Think you may be in the wrong place mate...
The auto-playlist system on Gamespot strikes again!
Everyone uses smoke. Makes rodeoing almost impossible most times.
Ugh, sometimes the Final Fantasy crowd finds the good game threads.
@DesertEaglex24 It seems inFamous, Knack and Killzone are keeping you busy huh?
It's actually quite enjoyable.
@purity2004 @daviz88 I agree with you but if you wanna play a game that really breathes some fresh air into this genre check out Shattered Horizon on the PC.
Yea its you lol
This is because most everyone uses Ogres.
Ogres need Electric Smoke because they can't move fast enough to avoid rodeoing pilots like the Stryder can. And with their massive health they are less dependent on a defensive option like Vortex Shield or Particle Wall to stay alive in a fight.
Stryders are the opposite. They are very difficult to rodeo with their movement speed, but they need a defensive option because a single missile barrage can wreck them. So they can't really give up a Vortex Shield for Electric Smoke like Ogres can.
@Adapttttttt @VegasDawg @daviz88 WOW!!! Did you think that one up all by yourself? You can't even spell, lmao.
